I am always so disappointed eating at Italian restaurants because no one can cook as well as my family, so my hopes were not high. I wanted the Lasagne alla Bolognese (because my family is from Northern Italy) but they didn't have any more so I opted for the Paccheri alla norma e Burrata. Paccheri is a large tube pasta with a fresh tomato sauce, eggplant, topped with a bit of pesto, creamy mozzarella and grated salty ricotta. To be honest, the grated salty ricotta didn't add anything imho. However everything else worked superbly together. The tomato tang contrasted the earthy eggplant flavors so well (I suspect there may have been porcini in the sauce, it was so beautifully earthy). The creamy burrata and pesto also created interesting contrasts. And the pasta was perfect for this dish, it was still firm and stood up to all the interesting flavors. The first bite I thought "this is OK", but the subtle flavors and contrasts became more apparent as I ate more. This is not a michelin-star restaurant, so don't expect that. What you get is really good Italian home-cooking - which is a rare treat! My husband ordered the daily special of salmon on tagliatelle, which was good, but after he had a bite of my dish he finished my plate when I was full (generous portions). He absolutely loved this dish. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who can appreciate home-made pasta and good Italian cooking. It was indeed...

Third time here over the past seven years (2017, 2019, 2024). Excited to return. Unfortunately, customer service just not friendly or accommodating. I remember the nicest woman from prior visits made us feel like home. Her warm smile and authentic friendliness added so much to our visit. Today, the two male servers made me feel like a burden when I respectfully requested a paper mat because our table was sticky (diners at table next to us had some on their table). Servers both treated my request like I had asked for the moon. Eventually the older one finally brought me stack of them and just threw them onto the table. I almost left, but my friend told me to get over it. Then, the younger server finally returned, and asked us if we were ready to order. No one told us about the daily special, no one asked us if we had questions, and no one took a drink order.

Thankfully, the food was excellent. Server never returned after food was delivered and we had to flag him to order dessert and then again to get the bill.

I probably won't make the effort to travel across town to be unwelcomed despite the yummy pasta. Nor will I recommend to others anymore... Just such a...

Never have I felt so unwelcome. I went to this restaurant after having a reservation for 3 people. They do not let you enter the restaurant, the door is locked and you must wait until the hostess comes outside and seats you. We were first in a large queue and after the hostess told us we would be seated first, we were seated well after the people behind us. Many of them being French locals.

Upon entering and sitting down, we waited for a long time before we were even served water. I tried to order 2 pasta’s and they told us we HAD to order 3 dishes (1 for each person). Once we were served our pasta, our knives were taken from the table and upon asking for one, they said “we do not eat ravioli with a knife, only fork” and I was NOT given a knife. The staff act incredibly pretentious

Although many are calling the food incredibly good, it truly is nothing special and this quality of pasta can be found at many other restaurants for a cheaper price and far better attitude and staff.

They are heavily discriminatory and are very partial to French locals. They do not deserve the...

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Paris, look no further than Pastamore. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family and friends, and I must say it was a truly amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly service that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food was truly exceptional. We tried the linguine with clams and the pasta alla norma, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and delicious, and each bite was better than the last. But the true standout of the meal was the tiramisu - it was truly out of this world. The creamy and rich dessert was the perfect way to end an already fantastic meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Pastamore to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Paris. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back and experience it all again.

Drinks and food were great but we were extremely rushed through dinner. Arrived late in Paris and therefore made a reservation at 10PM upon which we were told that the sitting was 90 minutes long (see pic). In the beginning there was no rush at all but halfway through our entrees a lady, that had not served us so far, asked if we wanted dessert. Naturally we said no since we had only been there 35 minutes. Shortly after, the same lady removed our plates with my wife still chewing. We thought she was just aggravated for some reason and ordered some more drinks from our regular waiter. Seconds after the drinks arrived, the lady came back with the bill which we hadn’t asked for yet. This was 45 minutes into dinner. She then said they were closing in 10 minutes. So we paid and forced to leave our drinks half full, leaving the whole experience odd and annoying, instead of potentially fantastic.
