I truly wish I read the reviews before booking. Service is not just bad, those people will leave you feeling horrible. Iâd never knowingly pay to feel like a low life and eat food served with bad vibes. Very accustomed to high-end dinning (since in LA we have plenty and I hosted my business partners in fine restaurants around the world often) I booked dinner for the last evening in Paris with my niece- celebrating life as this was my first trip during cancer treatment. (Which I mentioned to the waiter when he asked whatâs the occasion.) We were seated at a horrible table by the kitchen from where the entire time I had to watch management yell at staff, one even hit my back with his behind as he was arranging tables behind me. Never said âsorryâ or âexcuse meâ. Once they saw I didnât order a bottle of wine (mind my cancer) and went with a very low-alcohol cocktail, they just wanted to get rid of us. Manager kept pushing the waiter to force us to order desert immediately after swallowing last piece of not-so-tender tenderloin. We asked for a 10 min break and the manager sent another waiter to tell us to order desert. Mind us, we were 35 min in the restaurant (policy is 2 hour seating). After the desert, many grim faces, hateful managerâs looks, rushing and stomping waiters, we were fed up, payed our bill, tipped 20e since we felt bad for our waiter. At the exit, upon being asked by a kind receptionist if everything was fine, I appreciated the opportunity to tell her it wasnât ⌠at the bottom of the stares, the manager started calling her name and since she didnât respond in order to be respectful to a talking customer, he starts yelling, like serious military yelling. I wasnât exposed to that kind of yelling in real life ever!!! Iâve only seen it in movies. I left the door shaking. Voila- my last night in Paris celebrating life- thanks for ruining it by primitivity and aggression. So Iâll make sure that myself and all my friends know to make a big circle around Verde when they visit Paris. Also, please donât insult us further with your cryptic response of how sorry you are you didnât meet our expectations- you didnât meet the expectation of civilized world...

Let me start by saying I am from France and moved to the States and go back and forth quite often. I totally understand bottle service and the type of environment places like Verde is supposed to be.
My birthday is 31/12 and I decided to spend my birthday/NYE there. The set menu was âŹ450/pp - 2 courses + dessert.
The food was terrible. Tiny portions + no champagne was served for the countdown.
Now let me tell you about the service. The waiter was great but the women that work there - TERRIBLE. Very Money Hungry!!!! They are very aggressive SCAMMERS! She pretended the dance with us all night to entice us to buy bottles - the DJ was terrible the night of new years and I told her if he changed the music we would consider buying a bottle. Her first question wasnât â can I help you with ordering champagne?â It was âhow many bottles would you like to buy?â
I asked for the check - she grabbed the check from our male waiter and decided that she wanted to take care of us now because he was not being aggressive enough. She handed us the bill and told us that gratuity isnât included and that normally people tip anywhere from â10%, 15%, 20%, 30% all the way up to 100%â. Lol lady are you kidding me? We had to tell her to get out of our face because she wouldnât leave to let our party decide how much we should leave them.
After leaving them over 20% after a terrible experience, half of our parties had checked their coats, another lady helped us and this other woman behind her asked if we wanted to leave gratuity. We did not have cash and she asked the bartender if they could use his machine. The gentlemen said no he was closed. So she ran all the way to get her other machine and told us âthereâs Me, my friend and this other girl so 3 of us you need to tipâ how many people does it take to hang a coat is my question?
Verde - 5 STARS IN FINNESSIN PEOPLE
TERRIBLE MUSIC, TERRIBLE STAFF,...
Read moreunfortunately ! I was there with my family today and I had made a reservation three weeks ago, and they asked me to register my credit card details to confirm my reservation. All of that didnât matter! When making the reservation, I corresponded with them via WhatsApp to confirm whether there was dancing show or not! They assured me that there was dancing show .. Today they called me at 5:30 pm to confirm the reservation. I asked them a second time if there show tonight? She assured me that yes, there is and it starts at 10:30 pm. Anyway, we went to to restaurant at 9:30 pm, and there was a bad man, he sat us in the worst table close the bathroom.. and I asked to change table , he said no! Although there are a lot of empty tables. After that, unfortunately, we waited for the show! There was no show, and the same person I asked him, âis there show at 10:30?â He said, âNo, there is show at 1:00,â I think he wants us to leave why?? I donât know !! he was very roud and bad in dealing. Then he sent a waitress to tell us there is no show tonight just Dj ! In addition, the bill was very expensive!! Also was there 2 girls seated close to me ! and I heard them asking the waiter when the show would start, and they told them 11:00, and they even treated them badly, asking them to pay and leave! She said I came from London to see the dance show. They said wait upstairs at the bar if the show started you can come down ! She said, âI will order drinks and dessert âThey said, âNo, we closed the bill.â OMGâ They only...
