After trying a number of the dishes I’ve settled on 2 stars.
The homous bi shawarma is probably the best dish we ate. A little pricy for the portion at 10,5 €.
As for the sandwiches we tried the Chicken Shawarma and the kafta sandwich. Of the two the Chicken Shawarma was best, but not by much. It was not a real Shawarma, as it was not cooked on the vertical spit. It taste’s pretty good though, so the disappointment was more so in the expectations rather than the actual taste, which was fine.
As for the kafta, it had the right flavors and while it reminded of Beirut’s snack stands, one piece meat in a sandwich that could easily use two was quite disappointing.
Lastly we tried both types of potatoes. Batata piquante and Regular. Neither was really great. In fact we struggled to digest either one. Both were extremely salty. The regular ones were bathed in oil, raw garlic, and coriander, while the piquantes were covered in chili garlic and salt. They are also soggy which is not expected. Typically these potatoes are cooked with the garlic and not dressed with raw garlic. Unfortunately this left us with the raw taste of garlic and coriander in the mouth for the rest of the day.
Overall, the food is fine and the quality is good, but at the prices being payed we would expect...
Read moreI am very fortunate to have stumbled by this place because they serve excellent, authentic Lebanese food, which is rare to find in Paris.
I ordered their Lebanese-style kafta burger and sampled their beef shawarma and shish tawouk (chicken), and I can honestly say that they make some of the best street food in Paris (of any cuisine). The kafta burger was especially nice to have because it is not commonly found at Lebanese joints here and reminded me of the food served at casual diners back home in Lebanon.
Thank you Imad, Carole, and Samuel for a wonderful experience and for being great hosts – and for anyone reading this, please support this excellent family-owned...
Read moreFood was super delicious and tasty! I loved the grilled chicken, the garlic sauce on that chicken, the tabbuleh was good and fresh and mmh perfect fresh parsley. I also really liked the potatoes w garlic and the hummus is good! Lemonade was a bit too sweet for me, but my friend loved it. Proces are so fair for the food, quality and portion size in my opinion! Am definitely coming back. The place is small and not a lot of seating inside, besides u have to order from a tablet screen even when there is no other customers, making a bit unpersonal, but i guess when its busy it frees the staff to cook, thats just my...
