The atmosphere of this café is undeniably charming—cute, cozy, and inviting. The beautiful display of cakes is a feast for the eyes, showcasing an impressive variety of tempting treats. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired and mars the overall experience.

Despite being seated promptly, we were left waiting for over 15 minutes while the waitress handled payment for a nearby table. This interaction dragged on unnecessarily, involving a very futile discussion. When I politely asked if we could place our order, the waitress responded with sarcasm, claiming she would be right with us. However, she did not return to take our order, instead clearing the table she had just attended. Feeling ignored and neglected, we eventually decided to leave.

It’s disappointing to see a place with such potential suffer from poor service. It seems that their popularity, likely due to the café’s touristy location, has made them complacent. This café makes we want to visit Strasbourg again! With a selection of mainly cheesecakes of various varieties and very good coffee, this café is easily one of the best cafés I have ever been to. The ambiance is comfortable and a little quirky which adds an even more unique feel to the cafe. I would totally recommend the "cafe praline" as an after lunch dessert coffee. The cake is light, fluffy and has just the right amount of sweetness to it. Mixed with the tart berry sauce and the whipped cream, every bite feels like a taste of heaven.

Not bad. Nice to sit down after a long walk. They have different kinds of cheesecake and I ordered the pistachio cheesecake with cherries.

In terms of the flavor its a decent cake but I couldn’t taste much of any cheese flavor. Also the outer ‘crust’ of the cake is weird, tough and tasteless, but other part of the cake is good enough. It’s not very dense. The portion is big but it’s rather a light one. The jam is slightly too sour.
