Could have been a legendary wine bar but is hardly to become such. I have been here twice in two different seasons hoping that something would change but no: extremely unfriendly staff, careless attitide to sanitary aspects, unprofessionalism and loose communication.

Just for you to understand why I would not recommend wine-lovers this seemingly nice place. Here are a few conversations we had yesterday with its staff.

1 - Me (checking an extensive menu): We would like to try a few types of wine by glass (me, checking an extensive menu).

Waitress: Well, we have only 3 bottles open so those would be the only wines for you to choose.

PS I mean... isn't it a wine bar where you are SUPPOSED to open bottles, no?

2 - Me (struggling to have a conversation with my friend because of the repair works ONGOING in the bar while we are there): Excuse me, could please tell us when the door repair is going to be done... We are here to talk, drink wine and listen to music, not the construction noise....

Waitress (hardly paying us attention busy with her phone): I wish I knew it.

PS Hmmm... Woudn't it be fair for the customers to do repair works out of the working hours? Just as a sign of respect?

3 - Me: Okey, if the selection of wines per glass is so poor despite the impressine 6-pages' menu let me order a bottle (ordering)

Me (in a few minutes discovering that the waitress has brought a cimpletely different bottle): Excuse me, this is not what we have asked.

Waitress: Ah, really?

PS Do they know the word "sorry" here? Maybe she was just irriatated by human beings in general.

PPS And.... my previous experience at DADI in winter was more or less the same. Should I give it one more chance in a new...

FABULOUS! What a wonderful little wine bar with a great selection of wines and a simple menu to compliment the food. It has both indoor/outdoor seating with good music playing in the background. I spoke with the waitress regarding the type of red wine I enjoy and left it up to her to bring me something special and did she deliver. It was absolutely delicious - full-bodies, full of tannins and flavor. In order to indulge in another glass I ordered the tomato soup - delicious and the roast beef bruschetta - nicely balanced with the cheese and pickles. The waitstaff was fantastic - they could not have been better. They were friendly, knowledgable, accommodating and welcoming. I had a wonderful and relaxed several hours enjoying good wine (all from local small growers, btw), company and Georgian atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend...

Great experience! The restaurant was very pretty and the servers were nice and helpful. I got the wine tasting with 5 wines from different regions and some bread and cheese. The wine was all very good, and the server gave an interesting brief explanation for each one. The bread and cheese were also good, the cheese especially, though rather small for two people. It was very reasonably priced at 35 GEL per person for the tasting.

I also got the tomato and the prosciutto bruchetta, which was very good; though you get one slice let order.

My server also spoke great English which was much appreciated. The restaurant was very helpful and responsive when I messaged them on facebook. It is also conveniently located right off freedom square, and I had an easy time finding it I would definitely recommend...

The best wine shop/bar in Tbilisi, hands down. The place is small and reservation is a must (on summer nights they have two benches outside for waiting, where they serve wine as well). However, a very long wine list from all the regions in Georgia. The staff of also very knowledgeable and serve you wine based on your taste preferences. I've walked in here half a dozen of times with a request like 'amber, light, with a floral note' and they always find just a perfect match. I particularly appreciate that they don't push for the most expensive wine on the list but instead try to make sure you get what you want. Do try their humus! It's divine!
