Cafe Sololaki — Restaurant in Tbilisi

well, it was our last and the extra day we spent in Tbilisi , just because our flight was cancelled due to the weather condition. I can truely say that we were so lucky to miss the flight so we could find this lovely place which is ran by two nice French ladies. They were so kind to us so that we could leave our bags in the cafe to go for a one last walk in the city. than we went back for a delicious glintwine and champaigne! We walked by and the spot looked so cute, decided to get sandwiches and iced coffee with ice cream. Iced coffee didn’t taste like coffee or ice cream, it was basically flavored water. Sandwiches were okay, but not tasty at all. We paid 72 lari for two tasteless coffees, two sandwiches and two waters. Definitely don’t recommend stopping here. Service was nice though, polite and...

We stopped here while in Tbilisi, drawn in by the sight of the “sirniki” on another customer’s table. They were absolutely delicious, and the owner was incredibly hospitable. I don’t think she stopped moving the whole time we were there—working so hard to get every table what they needed. Every food item we saw headed to others’ tables looked wonderful.
