The WORST restaurant in Georgia.
Read the reviews carefully before deciding to go to this place. We were two women having dinner here and we were completely humiliated by the bald old man who works there. He gave us a table for two and after that he started SCREAMING inside the restaurant at an employee of course, in Georgian and we didn’t understand why. Meanwhile, this bald old man was serving all the tables except ours. I tried several times to ask him for wine, the bill, etc., and he simply ignored me and called the other waiter to take our order. When I asked for the bill, he didn’t even look at me and signaled to the old woman who works there to come and ask what we wanted. She also ignored us and told the young waiter to serve us, a boy who clearly seemed afraid of those two unbearable people.
To top it off, before leaving, we went to the bathroom and found two huge cockroaches in there. Just imagine what the kitchen must be like… Disgusting!
No wonder the restaurant was practically empty. STAY AWAY FROM...
Read moreThe best Georgian restaurant we had in a whole week. We had a big company so we were able to try all kind of dishes. Khachapuri on a skewer, king's adjupsandali, chahohbili, tatariaxli (soup), chicken with blackberry sauce, those are the only ones that I personally was able to try and there were others there too. None of them was just ok, every dish was a hit. Though khinkali is served everywhere, this is the only place that we could get lamb khinkali. An they were the best! Don't order expensive vine, but order house zinandali and it will pair with everything. The ambiance is also excellent. They have a terrace, which would be really nice for a lunch on a hot day, but also several small rooms with very traditional decorations, which I would imagine would be very good for dinner. Stuff is very helpful and cheerful too, leave them...
Read moreWe ended up here recommend by ChatGPT after finishing a rather long beautiful but tiring walk of botanical garden. And we loved every bit of it. The young boys who were serving were very smart courteous and gave all amazing recommendations. They were very at ease with English. I believe that older members or owners were not so they may seem little distant but it’s the language that holds them u suppose. The staff made it up for us and we had terrific experience. They recommended amazing wine, the pkhali (paste of different veggies including eggplant in walnut paste) was phenomenal, and khinkali the best we had so far in Tbilisi. We order a stew and country chicken in garlic sauce ( almost like white sauce) We ended with flower tea and I can’t recommend it enough. Amazing food...
