I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tsiskvili Terrace, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and inviting the place felt. The entrance leads into a spacious terrace adorned with greenery, warm lighting, and tasteful decor that blends modern style with traditional Georgian elements. The overall atmosphere immediately puts you at ease and sets the stage for an enjoyable meal.
The food exceeded my expectations. Each dish was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Ingredients tasted fresh, and the balance of seasoning was just right. I tried a variety of items from the menu, and each one had its own unique character. The khachapuri was rich and comforting, the salads were crisp and refreshing, and the grilled meats were tender and full of flavor. It was clear that a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the presentation.
Cleanliness was another highlight. The dining area, tables, and even the restrooms were spotless, which really adds to the comfort of the experience. It’s one of those places where you feel confident about the quality and hygiene standards the moment you sit down.
The staff deserve a special mention. They were attentive without being intrusive, always ready to assist with menu recommendations or check in to ensure everything was going well. Their warm and professional manner made me feel welcome from start to finish.
The vibes here are outstanding — lively enough to feel special, yet calm enough to relax and enjoy the moment. Whether for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a celebration with friends, Tsiskvili Terrace strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.
I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Tbilisi. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant as a group of four friends and would like to share our overall impressions along with feedback on the dishes and drinks we tried. We ordered kebab, mtsvadi (Georgian grilled meat), khinkali, lobiani with jonjoli (pickled sprouts), a tomato salad, and four different cocktails: Long Island, Mai Tai, homemade mint & lime lemonade, and a raspberry cocktail.
Food:
Lobiani with jonjoli – The dough was absolutely delicious. However, we felt that using fresh coriander might have worked better in terms of flavor balance.
Tomato salad – According to our friends, it tasted good overall, but we would have preferred the tomatoes peeled.
Mtsvadi (grilled meat) – Unfortunately, we wouldn’t order it again; we would rate it 4 out of 10.
Kebab – It was made with mixed meat but still came out very dry and lacked juiciness.
Khinkali – The flavor was dominated by an intense beef taste. Personally, I wouldn’t order it again.
Drinks:
In all the cocktails, there was more ice than actual drink.
The homemade lemonade lacked any noticeable flavor or aroma.
The Mai Tai had too much alcohol for our taste.
Out of everything we tried, we would highlight the lobiani and tomato salad as the standout items – these are the dishes we would definitely come back for.
Service: The service was excellent – attentive and respectful. In our case, David took care of us ❤️. While we were waiting for our friends, he checked in on us several times, offering help without being intrusive. His service was well-balanced and thoughtful throughout.
Atmosphere: The environment is elegant, clean, and well-maintained – exactly what you’d expect from a restaurant...
Read moreWe had an extremely disappointing experience with the service at this establishment. It was clear that there was no understanding of group dining etiquette — that when a table orders together, the expectation is that the food should arrive within a reasonable timeframe so everyone can eat together.
Unfortunately, that was not the case. The food was brought out with significant delays between each person's order, with time gaps of 15 minutes or more between portions. As a result, each person at the table ate alone while the others waited — or worse, continued waiting long after others had finished.
Even for guests who ordered combinations of dishes meant to be eaten together, the items were served separately with delays of 30 minutes or more, completely ruining the meal experience. Some people received their food 30–45 minutes after ordering, others waited over an hour and a half, and some never received their meals at all.
To make matters worse, when we asked to cancel the dishes that had still not arrived after 90 minutes, the waiter told us that cancellation was not possible, and insisted we would need to pay for the full bill — including items we never received. It was only after intervening with the manager that we were able to resolve the situation.
Overall, there was zero sense of hospitality, planning, or basic service standards. We felt deeply disappointed and frustrated, especially since we came to enjoy a shared meal, and instead had a fragmented and...
