⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aapka Indian Food Restaurant, Berlin
After trying Indian food at 6–7 different restaurants across Europe and Germany, I finally found a place that truly captures the real and authentic taste of India. Aapka Indian Food Restaurant in Berlin gave me my first genuinely satisfying Indian meal on this trip, and I couldn’t be happier.
The flavors were exactly what I expect back home rich, balanced, and cooked with authenticity rather than being overly adjusted to European taste. Every dish I tried had that original Indian aroma and spice level, something I had been missing badly. Unlike many other restaurants that claim “authentic Indian food” but end up serving fusion or watered-down versions, here the food feels like it was prepared with passion and a deep respect for tradition.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made the whole experience even better with their friendliness and attention. The menu has a wide variety of classic Indian dishes, and each plate that came out looked fresh and appetizing. Portions were generous, and the quality was consistently excellent.
For me, this was not just a meal — it was like finding a piece of home in Berlin after days of disappointment elsewhere. If you are craving true Indian food with real spices, original flavors, and heartfelt cooking, this is the restaurant you must visit.
I highly recommend Aapka Indian Food Restaurant to anyone whether you’re an Indian missing home flavors, or someone curious to try what authentic Indian food is actually like. This place has set the bar for Indian dining in Germany. Owner is very friendly and nice guy . Even some indian customer try to making problem workout any reason then owner handle them very good way .in fact I was there seatin next to them they were not good customers. Even talk in Hindi trying to make some planing for blame to owner . Really very sad .

Read moreThe food was typical-Indian-restaurant-in-Berlin food ( I mean carrots and zucchini in Chicken Biryani, flavourless chicken pieces since the same pre-cooked chicken pieces are used for biryani and curries, chicken biryani indistinguishable from chicken fried rice etc. that kinda stuff). That was all okay. No problem since one can’t expect more in Berlin. What made the experience sour was when we ordered the most spicy dish ( jalfrezi) on the menu and it turned out to be very very sweet ( they definitely use tomato ketchup for the gravy. Anyone can tell from the sweetness. Shame.). We would let that slide too. But when the waiter came at our table for the second time to ask how the food was (he CAME to our table, mind you) and we explained this issue to him ( very politely, I must add) and he started explaining to us ‘how jalfrezi is supposed to have a sweet hint to it’ , we were deeply hurt. I mean… come on! Just say sorry and move on.
Dear Restaurant management, if you don’t want constructive criticism, don’t ask for it. Especially to Indians. We were eating the food without any complaints. If you just want fake sweetness, go ask your non suspecting non Indian customers ( or eat your jalfrezi).
Since the restaurant is located at a premium location, the prices are premium too.
Go hungry instead, but...

I visited Aapka Restaurant near Alexanderplatz and found the overall experience average. The food was good, but the service needs improvement.
The staff members should be trained better on how to welcome guests — no one greeted us with a smile, and after finishing our food, no one cleared the plates until we asked. Small gestures like friendliness and attentiveness can make a big difference.
We ordered the Indian Veg Thali, which was actually great for two people — flavorful and well-prepared. The Mango Lassi was also excellent, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. However, the tea was disappointing — it had a very strong clove flavor, which overpowered the taste. I’d recommend using cardamom or a classic brand like TAPAL to make it more authentic and enjoyable.
On the positive side, the restaurant is clean, has a good seating area, and even provides a bathroom for guests, which is convenient.
Overall, Aapka serves good food, but the staff hospitality and attention to detail need improvement to match the quality of the food.
