Horrible experience: I WAS a regular customer: I used to buy my matcha, dips and other food there until yesterday. I ordered a banana bread with walnuts and cinnamon among other things. A red haired woman was the cashier and told One of the very nice ladies at the other side of the bar what I had ordered. There was just the last piece of the bread left and the lady preparing it wanted to ask me if it was OK for me to get the last piece, which was a bit bigger than the other ones but more irregular. The red haired woman told her in a loud, aggressive and rude way, that she had to cut the bread because that‘d be „unfair to other customers“ if i‘d get a bit of a bigger piece. The lady totally confused told her that that was how she had been instructed, so the bully cashier took the knife and cut it totally pissed to what she considered fair and put it aggressively in a bag. The lady preparing the food was totally confused and ashamed. When this bullying horrifying behavior is allowed, I never want to go back there. Such a bad behavior against both the colleagues and customers is an absolute no-go for me. Maybe...
Read moreThis is the epitome of Berlin's insane POS tipping demands (asked for up to 85% tip) for self-service and take-away places.
I buy a take-away for 3.5€ and I'm offered to leave a tip starting at 1€, followed by 2€ and 3€ (85% tip)?!?!?!?!
Are people not being compensated fairly or are the price increases not enough? I'm asked to leave a tip because someone is there to charge me? Should Rewe do that? This is not the US.
It's interesting that places that offer real service and are great, don't have tipping options on the POS. It's because they know they'll get great tips which match the great service they provide.
The fact that the tip is an opt-out and people are in front of your looking at what you'll do is bizarre, because it leaves you with a bad feeling which spoils the entire experience.
I used to grab some pastry whenever I was around, but when places give me this bad feelings I prefer to avoid them.
Berlin is known for having subpar hospitality, yet the tipping demands are crazy. And the amount of service I'm offered here is basically like getting a cake from...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable experience with KoRo! I received a package with broken glass jars leaking everywhere – a serious safety hazard, especially with a toddler in the house. To make matters worse, one of the products was EXPIRED, and another had no expiration date at all.
When I contacted customer service, they asked for photos but seemed to ignore the fact that keeping broken glass jars at home is dangerous and unreasonable. There was zero accountability, and their complaint process feels more like a tactic to delay or deny refunds.
It’s clear KoRo has no proper quality control and is happy to ship expired and damaged goods. If you value your health, your money, and basic hygiene—STAY AWAY. This company feels like a scam, hiding behind a “clean” brand image while delivering rotten service and...
