We love and know banh mi’s from our travels through Vietnam and were really excited when we discovered this place. We went there for lunch yesterday and one of the banh mi’s had a hair. We went to the counter and showed them and they denied and claimed it was lemongrass. It is obvious it is hair as you can see from the pictures and we gave it back. They started discussing and then they came back to us screaming that we are wrong. This is not an appropriate reaction and behavior. Read moreI came here 4 times over 2 weeks, and my favorite item is the bahn mi, which is made with gluten free bread. I havent eaten bahn mi in years because good gluten free baguettes are so hard to find so this was truly a delight. The bread itself is excellent and doesn't taste gluten free, and it doesn't have the crumbly or gummy texture that GF breads can have. The filling is excellent, as well. I also ate the bun vermicelli rice bowl and was really pleased with the taste and size of the bowl.

Once they forgot to put sauce on the banh mi sandwich (making it dry bread with some veggies and tofu) - which admittedly can happen - and the other time we ordered a vegan banh mi (so without mayonnaise), we watched how they prepared the sandwich with mayo, and when they were almost done, they realised that the mayo doesn't belong, they tried to scratch it off and put red sauce on it, so it wouldn't be visible.
