We love and know banh mi’s from our travels through Vietnam and were really excited when we discovered this place. We went there for lunch yesterday and one of the banh mi’s had a hair. We went to the counter and showed them and they denied and claimed it was lemongrass. It is obvious it is hair as you can see from the pictures and we gave it back. They started discussing and then they came back to us screaming that we are wrong. This is not an appropriate reaction and behavior. We didn’t even get an apology and they didn’t even offer us a new sandwich. Instead they were yelling at us and accusing us of lying. If you want to experience hairy food and rude service, this...

I came here 4 times over 2 weeks, and my favorite item is the bahn mi, which is made with gluten free bread. I havent eaten bahn mi in years because good gluten free baguettes are so hard to find so this was truly a delight. The bread itself is excellent and doesn't taste gluten free, and it doesn't have the crumbly or gummy texture that GF breads can have. The filling is excellent, as well. I also ate the bun vermicelli rice bowl and was really pleased with the taste and size of the bowl.

The only item I wasn't impressed with was the chicken rice dish. The chicken was over salted workout any other distinguishing flavor. But every other menu item I...

For years our experience with Coco banh mi was great - fresh, tasty food. However recently, we were disappointed a couple of times. Once they forgot to put sauce on the banh mi sandwich (making it dry bread with some veggies and tofu) - which admittedly can happen - and the other time we ordered a vegan banh mi (so without mayonnaise), we watched how they prepared the sandwich with mayo, and when they were almost done, they realised that the mayo doesn't belong, they tried to scratch it off and put red sauce on it, so it wouldn't be visible. Although they did prepare a new one after we talked to them, this made us loose confidence in their service,...

We ordered the classic Banh Mi. The prices are fairly low and the place looks very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly as well. The Banh Mi was a slight disappointment. There was a very thin layer of pate, the pork was cut very thinly and the rest of the sandwich was filled with carrots and daikon. Both the pate and pork were missing flavour. Given the price point, it's an o.k. sandwich. My guess, they just tailored it to the local audience.
