I wanted to work on my laptop for an hour, ordered 8€ worth of drink/food plus tip but they only allow you to take out your laptop at a small fraction of their tables. All of them were either taken or in direct sunlight whereas the laptop free tables were all completely unoccupied. They basically asked me to squeeze in at a tiny table where two people were already sitting rather than claim one of their 6 empty tables. I told them that I'd be happy to move in case a bigger group would come but they wouldn't accept that. I didn't even need WiFi. This is absurd. It's a coffee shop in the middle of a business district of Berlin. I get that you don't want people to use cafes as offices and take up space for hours that other paying customers might want but when you have an almost empty cafe and won't let a buying customer sit down at one of those because they might pull out a laptop, that's ridiculous. Who would I bother by typing for an hour while drinking your coffee? It's not like I was lighting up...

I visited Coffee Circle near the Rosen-Luxemburg U-Bahn station last Saturday with my baby daughter. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a cappuccino, but after waiting for 15-20 minutes, my order still hadn't arrived, and my baby woke up, making it impossible to stay any longer.
I approached the cashier, who was very polite and understanding. I explained the situation and requested a refund on my card. However, the barista, who was not very friendly, insisted that it wasn't possible to process a card refund.
I requested a receipt and subsequently emailed Coffee Circle about the issue, but I am still waiting for a response. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience due to the lack of resolution. No coffee, no refund, and no response from the company. Unfortunately, that sums up my visit.

Read moreHave been coming here for years and have also been drinking Coffee Circle coffee at home. Their roasts are not super-light like The Barn, but rather medium or medium-dark, and for me this makes their filter coffees ideal daily drivers. I like Limu the most for filter. They often have it in the café on batch brew and it tastes great. Prefer this location to the other Coffee Circle cafés :P
One more thing I really like is that the quality of the roasts, of the café, etc stays consistent over the years. Much more consistent than all other roasters in Berlin. Coffee Circle don't do super-speciality lots, but that's kind of the point - they do the same origins with some seasonal variations and some new ones periodically, but the "main" roasts are always available and always...
