Long story short... They attempted to sell me a wine that they didn't have in stock. So instead they gave me a bottle that had previously been opened when (what time period and where) I do not know. What I do know is that it tasted like vinegar. My German friend let them know that I would not be willing to pay for it as: I only sipped it They had brought a bottle (in a see- through house bottle) that I had not even ordered. The bottle had been opened from goodness knows when.( My friends tasted sipped it and agreed.)

They did sell me a brand new unopened wine (not the one I had originally ordered as they do not sell it). We all ordered our food Then they "SAY" they didn't get my food order. Eventhough the waiter underlined my personal order twice in front of me. I received my meal last of all and I noticed that my meal had more sauce than my friend who had the same meal. While eating it I mentioned that it was quite hot (chilli-wise), the same friend said there one was not hot at all. So I knew they (the restaurant owners/staff) had done something to the meal. However, I like spicy food so I figured the jokes on them. I was wrong. The next day I was vomiting and flame-throwing from the other end. The doctor said possible food poisoning. But it did taste good and everyone else enjoyed it. No doubt they wanted revenge. So on that basis I will give...

On July 2019 I had lunch here with my colleagues. The food was tasty, service however was very poor. My review was incorrectly flagged as defamation (legally untrue) and now removed. Looking at their current reviews and other reviews, this place is removing negative reviews to up their score on Google Maps.

As a long-standing reviewer I have seen this quite often unfortunately by mediocre restaurants. I don't recommend going here based on the reviews as they simply do not reflect reality.

My 3 star review in 2019 explained that when my order was served, they brought me a dish with meat that I did not order as I am vegetarian. After an unrude discussion and support from my German native speaking colleagues, they reluctantly corrected the order.

Dear restaurants, please don't delete negative reviews, but instead provide proper customer service. The best course of action would've been a comment saying "this happens, we're sorry" – instead now you've made sure I'll never come back again 🙂

Update: My original review was reinstated by Google as it was incorrectly flagged by the merchant. I've updated this second review to be 3 stars instead of 1 to match my original. I will leave this one up to inform others of the way business is conducted by...

They're doing some things right but sadly get lost in the details. The food is good in its basic ingredients but then lacks seasoning or central components. Example: We ordered pho, but when we asked for chili and lime, we were told there wasn't any. The broth was okay, but not very rich. We ordered summer rolls with shrimps, but they were not served with the typical fragrant fish sauce but with a more bland version, even worse: There were only 1-2 small shrimps in each and the rolls were 90% glass noodles and salad. The waiters were very uncoordinated too. Apparently there was 1 waiter for cleaning, 1 for serving and 1 for payment which led to the cleaning waiter being idle all the time when people were eating and when we wanted to pay or order, telling us that his colleague will come. But since his colleague was busy doing things while he was idly standing by, we were waiting 15 min to order, and then after eating another 20 min to pay up. Also some waiters are not very friendly. Sad, because this place has a lot...

This Vietnamese spot offered a pleasant dining experience, though it didn’t quite hit all the marks. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the chicken mango curry, tofu vegan mango curry, vegan pho, and beef pho. The dishes were light and easy on the palate, which is great if you’re looking for something not too heavy. The tofu was delightfully fluffy, and the beef was well-cooked and tender. The pho noodles were of good quality, adding a nice texture to the soup. However, the overall flavors left something to be desired. The curries and pho were under-seasoned, making the dishes taste somewhat bland and lacking the vibrant flavors you’d expect from Vietnamese cuisine. The pho, in particular, was average. One bright spot was the Vietnamese coffee, which was rich, smooth, and had a pleasant nutty undertone. It was the perfect end to an otherwise just-okay meal.

Usually a meeting place for lunches for people working around the area, which makes the place during lunch hours very busy. Service is quick. The prices are very good especially for the lunch menus 5,50-6,90€. With a couple of vegetarian/tofu options. You can have sushi sets starting 6€ but they are average quality. Try the ginger, orange mint tea. Not the place for first date and couple discussions (during lunch hours) 😀 In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the museum island and the dome. In the evening you can have a drink or your dinner. Free WiFi for guests for 30 minutes, but terribly slow. Wheelchairs and baby carriers during lunch hours inside are difficult. Doggy bags and take-away, Cash and credit card payment possible. If you think my review was useful, kindly press the like button. Thx
