I normally don't review, but this place deserves one.

Firstly, service is very inattentive. They forgot our drinks, we had to re-order, then they brought our starters and mains at the same time - no I don't want pasta with a side of soup. After sending back the mains, they forgot about them completely and never came back to ask or ask how our dinner is proceeding. 1/5

The food is marginal restaurant food, not deserving of the premium location of Mitte. The "ravioli" were actually tortellini that tasted and where shaped like common supermarket food. The carbonara was not creamy and definitely used basic cheese & bacon, not guanciale or pecorino. Nothing here is handmade, the restaurant advertises "home-made", which following German law only means that the food was assembled in the restaurant.

With plenty pristine italian restaurants in walking distance, that pride themselves with handmade pasta, this place should be avoided. Atmosphere is ok, like any restaurant in...

Totally underrated little place - menu is limited but the excellence shines through. Three at our table had the Carbonara, and I had the fettuccine with burrata & tomato sauce. The bruschetta appetizer was absolutely phenomenal, and the panna cotta dessert with cherry topping was incredible. The place is run by an Italian family, and you can taste the love. Service was attentive and friendly. Only one hiccup - I tried to pay with AmEx (I really do know better...) Apparently it broke the machine - I then tried paying with my VISA card, but was told cash only. Grr. When we got back to the hotel we discovered the VISA charge had gone through, in addition to the cash we paid. I hope they notice the discrepancy and refund our credit card. €106.50 doubled is a bit much for a single meal - fingers crossed. But it's well worth seeking out for some authentic...

This punk rocky, casual cafe serves up a mean, fairly inexpensive breakfast. Find a table (only about 10) and grab the menu/order sheet from the center console and choose your own breakfast adventure. They do two breakfasts here: eggs and pancakes. Not the most German of breakfasts, but definitely a hearty solid one and not expensive, score!

I didn't eat the pancakes, but dayummmm did they look good. If you're looking to indulge in all your carb desires, if looks are good as they taste, get 'em.

The eggs were great. I opted to go the omelette way vs fried egg and I added tomatoes and ham to the mix and it was a hearty 3 egg omelette with some toast and salad that left me full and satisfied for the whole day.

Not necessarily a destination, but a solid breakfast stop if you're in the...

Lovely little place! Very nice Italian man making the piadina! The dough is a bit thicker than the one I'm used to but it's definitely worth it and so tasty, also cheap. Standard piadinas: with prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella-tomato, prosciutto cotto with rosemary and I am dying to try the gnocchi too. Very affordable, a piadina is between 5-6 euros. Best Aperol I've had in Berlin so far! It's not watery like the ones they sell elsewhere. Will be back for sure!

A little family restaurant, cosy vibe. Best carbonara I ate in my life. The restaurant is ran by two Italians. Not a lot of selection in the menu which is great for me who loses herself in huge menus. Honestly the food is delicious, from the olive oil to the cocktails to the pasta. You have to go there.
