We visited this bar yesterday, and although we had a good experience in the past, this time was disappointing. First, they served me a Cosmopolitan in an oversized shot glass, which felt more like drinking tequila than a cocktail. It was strange and unappealing.
Next, I ordered a Martini — this time, it came in the correct glass, but instead of the traditional olive, they used a lemon peel, which ruined the presentation.
My friend ordered an Espresso Martini, which also arrived in a large shot glass. The cocktail was so bitter that it burned her throat. We asked for it to be replaced, but instead of apologizing and resolving the issue, we had to argue with the staff about what was wrong with the drink.

We have been here for 2 weeks and have had no issues getting into the country, going to museums, doing any tourist activities and going to several bars and clubs. Upon arrival we are told we can’t get in. I show the legal document the pharmacy provided stating that tourists are not able to get any vaccine QR code. We, a group of 8 Norwegian friends in our prime (ok, early to mid 50ish gentlemen) visited volksbar Friday night, and anjoyed our visit a lot. Nice and very friendly staff in an informal environment. We enjoyed our visit so much we tried to get a table the following night also, but alas - though hardly surprising - there were no tables available when we arrived.
