we have ordered 1 entrance and 1 salad to share as we were not so hungry.

the entrance was supposed to be burrata with ruccula pear nuts and fresh truffle. the plate came without pear and truffle the salad that we had afterwards was wrong. we ordered something and got a ceasar salad. which we notify to the waiter so we got our order corrected + extra pears.

The salad did not taste like it should have, it had a taste of soil or mold at some time.

upon paying we notify the waiter that we were not so satisfy of the experience and we were completely ignored as payment was successful and left without apologies.

Hands down my favourite restaurant in Hamburg. There have been restaurants with more interesting ideas, or restaurants with cheaper prices for some dishes, but the sheer combination of variety and quality you are getting here is excellent. The “before variation” is something I’ve shared with many business colleagues and friends visiting Hamburg, and it has never failed me so far. The parmesan wheel is always a show, which has been very nice to see, and the sauce is never grainy, which is sometimes hard to do with the parmesan they use, so I was impressed. The staff is nice, polite and friendly....

We went to the opera to see a wonderful ballet tonight and had a lovely time, followed by a trip to the opera restaurant across the road after making booking for a meal in the afternoon.

We were greeted by very poorly trained and miserable staff, who were very rude and not at all interested in providing a reasonable service.

After about 30 minutes of being ignored we all decided to leave and was told, by the staff, good go home.

I have no interest in spending any money at all in such an establishment and suggest that the management train there staff in how to greet paying customers and would recommend osteria next door for a decent meal staffed by professionals.

Very poor service and poor staff avoid this restaurant at all cost, try anywhere else.

Wir gingen heute Abend in die Oper, um ein wundervolles Ballett zu sehen, und hatten eine schöne Zeit, gefolgt von einem Besuch im Opernrestaurant gegenüber, nachdem wir am Nachmittag eine Mahlzeit gebucht hatten. Wir wurden von sehr schlecht ausgebildeten und miserablen Mitarbeitern begrüßt, die sehr unhöflich waren und überhaupt nicht daran interessiert waren, einen angemessenen Service zu bieten. Nachdem wir 30 Minuten ignoriert hatten, entschieden wir uns alle zu gehen und es wurde von den Mitarbeitern gesagt, dass sie gut nach Hause gehen sollten. Ich habe kein Interesse daran, in solch einer Einrichtung überhaupt Geld auszugeben, und schlage vor, dass das Management seine Mitarbeiter darin schult, wie man zahlende Kunden begrüßt, und ich würde Osteria nebenan für eine anständige Mahlzeit empfehlen, die von Fachleuten besetzt ist.
