Our waitress told us that this was the best souvlaki place in Athens - hyperbole, surely, like all of the places claiming to have the ‘best spaghetti in Rome’. Nope! From the moment the delicate scent hit my nostrils, to the sweet sorrow of the last mouthful leaving my tongue, the food was divine. Obviously try the pork skewers, but save room for the tzatziki too, plus we can recommend the Cretan ‘salad’ (which is actually more like the Greek answer to bruschetta). Come for lunch, you won’t regret it!

Look, I haven't been there for a decade and my comeback has been not so positive.The kalamaria I have ordered were pregrilled and definitely not well grilled in the second time.The Spartan dish with warm breads or pies and lemons is an echo of a classic Athenian suvlaki shop.The service is good and polite.Atmoshere for this diamond in the center of Athens is the peak and the reason to get there.Hey Livadia owner make the suvlaki great again.I LL come back soon to check.

Honestly the best place I’ve eaten in Athens and returned twice on my 4 day trip to Athens. The Greek salad has to be the best I’ve eaten with a generous serving of feta and fresh salads. I opted for the chicken platter and it was nicely presented and tasted amazing. Very budget friendly to eat if you’re out exploring Athens with great quality food.
