Ninnolo kolonaki — Restaurant in Athens

Definitely the best ice cream I had in Athens, and I tried at least a dozen, in all price ranges.

At first, when I entered the store, I was a bit sceptical because the texture didn't look very creamy, and I had an issue with the cone. I told the lady that I want two scoops but she took a cone that hardly fits one scoop, and wanted to give me two cones with one scoop each, so I walk out with a cone in each hand !?

But as soon as I walked out, the ice cream began to melt and I realized that the texture is perfectly creamy. Moreover, ingredients are definitely good and natural: I found real half pieces of hazelnut in the ice cream.

To add, the service is pretty good too. They are kind and smiley. Also very flexible, they give me two flavour in one scoop when I ask them.

This is now my favourite place to get an ice cream, and will be coming back to it whenever I am in Athens. Numerous other places just don't cut the mustard. The ice cream is either not creamy and one can find even pieces of ice inside, or it is too sweet with...
