food: we had the cretan salad and the mixed grill plate for 2. quality and taste was good, although chicken was dry and we couldn't really identify what was pork, beef and lamb. we give 3,5 stars for food in general.
organisation: was bad! we waited for guests to finish to get our table. suddenly other guests came in and the waiter told us that they had a reservation. so we had to wait for other guests to finish. note: it was 10.30 pm at that time. questionable that someone would make a reservation at that time, possible, but very questionable. idk why they would do that, either way it was very badly organized. there was also no "reservation sign" on that table.
service/hospitality: we waited for another table to finish. the table normally fits 5 people we were 2 people. as we were seated the waiter told us that we have to be quick with our orders and food, as we were sitting on a table for 5 people and if a table for 5 would be required, they would transfer us to another table. I would totally understand this normally, but after misorganization of the first table, the possibilty of losing another table was not acceptable at all.
to sum up: food was good, but hospitality was very very bad. so far we've experienced honest, fair and respectful service by all the other restaurants before. this was the only and worst experience we had in greece regarding hospitality. I would not recommend...

They serve bread with mineral water for the table, for which there is a small service charge on your bill, but very reasonably priced. If you're ordering one of the dishes that comes with pita bread - i'd say wait for the pita, it's much much better than the table bread.
Drinks: Highly recommend the light bears we tried - Lyra (golden ale) and White Mountains (pale ale). They also served us complimentary baklava and ouzo at the end of our meal.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has outside tables, on a typical street in Chania town. It's a lively atmosphere. You might get street performers singing and asking for money, but you don't have to pay them (we personally did not enjoy this at all, but it's nothing to do with the restaurant, it happens in many places in Chania).

Read moreHigh hopes for this place, but very, very disappointing and underwhelming. Shouldn't have bothered. They switched out my roasties for sub par cheap tasting fries without informing me after i ordered and they plated despite asking specifically for roast potatoes. Atrocious. Served a super warm beverage. Was told they dont have cold ones. Very oblivious. I had to personally request a side portion of ice, just to place my bottle in to cool it down. You think they will have some common sense, but no. No salt and pepper, had to again request it. Getting tired of this at this point, it wasnt even funny. Grilled chicken was very average, can cook this better at home. Also such a very tiny portion for a main meal. Honestly this should have been on the children's menu. They ask me to come back to try them again. I think I'll pass thanks. Very poor service. Wish i walked after the first red flag. Would have topped it if they asked for a tip, thankfully by that point they had some common sense and finally read the room to needn't bother....
