Really disappointed with this restaurant!
After reading all the positive reviews we decided to pick here for a birthday dinner and also our last night in Rhodes, something special.
From the offset we were faced with rude staff, we approached the restaurant to ask for table availability outside (there was no one in the restaurant at this point), one waiter made eye contact multiple times and decided to continue chatting to his colleague so we had to stand there awkwardly until one of our party decided to go inside and ask them directly. Every moment after this one waiter, unsure of his name, made it feel like we were a complete inconvenience, no complaints for the other staff who offered good service. This made our entire experience feel uncomfortable, feeling we were unwelcome the entire time.
They got our starter order wrong which we completely understand, mistakes happen, but we felt far too uncomfortable to highlight this due to the rude manner of our waiter so we decided to stay silent.
Our mains came out and they were completely cold, the rice tasted like it came out of the fridge without even an attempt to be heated up. The salad was poor and not fresh.
When it came to paying the waiter told us we had to go into the restaurant to pay. When we went inside we were met with horrible looks from the other staff and they sighed when they asked what we were there for. Turns out you were meant to pay down at the beach, which we got told like we were children. This then made us feel even more of an inconvenience even though it was the other waiter who told us to go inside.
Really disappointed with our experience here, what we wanted to be the most special night of our holiday turned out to be the most disappointing - the only positive experience is the view, eating on the beach during sunset was something to remember. If you’re willing to settle for mediocre food and service for a beautiful view then i would...
Read moreNot much of a welcome. Was told front seat were reserved. No pleasantries made by waiter, his attitude was poor and we were made to feel an inconvenience. Lots of locals in the restaurant and felt like we were not a priority, which was a shame as we thought the setting was beautiful. Not all the staff were rude and one staff member did smile at us once during our time there. Dinner meals arrived late and the chips were cold, whereas the beer wasn't (rather lukewarm). After receiving our meals, no waiter was seen or heard of again until the moment to 'pay up' came, which we asked for with a response from the wait of ‘oh’ no dessert for us thank you. Even on e of the locals on leaving asked if it our meal was ok?
I had the shrimp , fair portion came with a salad which was poor considering we have had amazing Greek salads throughout our entire trip, my partners meal was basically shavings of kebab meat , cold chips and pitta bread again with salad , but it was cold and not appealing at all. So sad as we had lovely meals down the street across the road which tasted better....
Read moreI’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it’s truly a gem by the beach. The food is always incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish feels like a celebration of local ingredients .But what really makes this place stand out is the setting. With tables right on the beach, you can enjoy your meal as the waves gently lap at your feet. Watching the sunset over the water while dining is an experience like no other. The staff here is so warm and welcoming, they make you feel like family every time you visit. It’s become a tradition for me , my friends and family to return here , and I can’t imagine a better place to unwind and enjoy great food by the sea. I highly recommend visiting during the winter as well if you are local. The cozy vibes with lights stung across the ceiling and the beautiful decorations, creates such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether it's summer or winter, this place is a...
