Read moreWe thought a margarita would be a safe choice in a bar called “Amigo”. Their interpretation of margarita: tequila soda with a lemon twist and sugar. I don’t mind the existence of this drink, maybe someone likes them, but these are not margaritas.
The pool, which is advertised on their façade, was probably installed 30 years ago and never maintained, and even 30 years ago I can’t imagine it played well. It’s like there’s an elevation in the middle of the slate, the balls rush to the rails and behave absolutely silly. The cues are just pieces of plastic. There’s chalk provided, but there’s nothing to chalk, it’s all plastic.
We should be paid 1500ft/h for playing this abomination, not the other way around.

Do not come here if you are sensitive to American history or a person of color. You will not feel welcome. The only thing I was met with upon arrival was stares. They looked at us in confusion as if we were not welcome. We should have known by the decor. Upon arrival your senses are assaulted buy o less than 7 confederate flags by the time you reach the bar (about 1 meter from the entry). I don't care if the flags were not placed to be offensive. They are offensive, point blank period. Definitely not worth the visit, go somewhere else like a ruin...
