This used to be our go-to place back in 2020-2021. We ordered from here almost every week/month.
But since then they have: changed the menu to being incredibly complex (like 60 different prices on a single page), difficult to combine the small dishes we always liked to eat together (mushrooms, carrots, hummus, falafel, mixed salad, fresh chickpeas, whole wheat pita, etc) unless you order a bunch of different combinations and extras which you cannot finish and bumps up the price unnecessarily.
They also have changed the breads. We used to always get whole wheat pita bread which was smaller, softer and healthier than the laffa and white pita they have now.
Lastly, we were sad to see how run down the place looks now: flickering light in bathroom, oily smell, no fresh air in bathroom+inner seating area, dirty walls that really need a fresh paint and cleaning , ceiling, AC unit’s pipe sticking out, the cupboard storing the cutlery is really oily/dirty. The tables and chairs slightly sticky.
It didn’t help that last time we ate there, all of us had a slight stomach pain within 30 min leaving the place.
Somehow, I’m giving 3 starts with respect to the past success this place had, but at the moment, it’s really close to a 2 star place.
I hope they give it a refresh in terms of food quality, simplify the menu and keep easy options to try everything, and really maintain better hygiene and cleanliness around the kitchen and the restaurant overall.
Would love to keep coming back if they did so! Their food was genuinely one of the best in town back...
Read moreThe service was unacceptable. We requested a discount that indicates the letter and the waiters changed their gesture we put much difficulty to make it. An hour after requesting it together with the account and that we were dizzy a thousand times not to apply it, at the time of collection, the waitress treated us badly and somewhat aggressive, (snorting, throwing the account at the table aggressively and being very rude when it comes to collecting). . Even so, we asked to speak with the manager, and the waitress told us that she was not there (then it turned out to be inside the restaurant). And so we asked for a claim sheet, which in no one gave us claiming that they did not find it. In conclusion, we were treated fatal, very slow, we did not apply the discount and we could not put a claim sheet. And if it was not enough, when trying to know the name of the waitress to put a review specifying the most problematic waitress, I deny us this information. There were 3 female waitresses, the manager who wore glasses, another girl with piercings and the third that was problematic and rude, wore a ponytail. We will not repeat Never, staff so take away the desire to return to these restaurants that have a relationship quality very good price. We hope this review reaches those responsible, as employees did not let us...

Food: Hummus/Falafels
What a soul destroying experience this was.Having been to another location which was good, I had high hopes for this. Most chains are consistent and relaible. Clearly not the case here! It seems these smaller chains are hell bent on ensuring their food makes people as miserable as possible. The bread maker spent more time sitting in his chair on his phone. The Resulting bread was dry and over cooked.
The falafels were too small and again dry/ You would be better off with five larger ones than the ten smaller ones they give you. They should also explain the menu better and advise customers what to order.
Where were the garnishes? I mean the fact they simply served up something like this (photos refer) should tell you something about the lack of service. Which I also think explains why it was also so quiet when everywhere else was full. Mistake going here and won't go back.
What I liked:
• N/A
What I didn't like:
• The falafels • The 'fresh' pita which wasn't actually a pita anyway • The soulless atmosphere
Do I recommend going? NO Will I go again? NO Was it good value?...
