Read moreThe place is great, would gladly come back anytime. It's pet friendly too! The atmosphere is great and the place has a good vibe.
The service, on the other hand, was great until I got my order. I ordered English Breakfast or Eggs Benedict (can't remember the name) and politely asked the server NOT to include mushrooms. He made a note and when he brought my food, I think they added all the mushrooms available in the kitchen.
I started setting aside all the mushrooms on a piece of paper. Asked for an empty plate, so I can get rid of them asap, before I đ€ź.
When I asked the guy why did they added mushrooms in my portion, he didn't even bother to apologize. He just looked at me and almost shrug his shoulders, kind of saying "Well! It's too late now, isn't it?". What a clod! đł
Even though I was very annoyed, I was also incredibly hungry, so I started eating the rest of the food. Ignoring the mushroom incident, the eggs and the beans were delicious!
In the end, we didn't asked for the bill, just went to the register and payed. The guy with brown beanie, had one more change to say something nice or to apologize for the mistake... still nothing.
Hope he gets fired before our...
Read moreA beautiful café in a lovely location. The interior is fancy with the attention to details.
What I didnât like? It feels like the service standards have dropped a bit. Specifically, I didnât like that while we were having breakfast, men in fur coats kept walking past us with carts, carrying deliveries to the kitchen. I get that it has to be done, but when youâre sitting in such a fancy cafĂ©, it kind of kills the vibe to have loaders walking back and forth next to your table.
Another thing â I donât like cold eggs for breakfast. If you serve poached eggs in the morning, please make sure theyâre warm. And my husbandâs salad had chili seeds â way more seeds than chili itself. And they werenât evenly spread, so in some bites there were just too many. Heâs fine with spicy food, so he ate it, but for a regular person it wouldâve been way too much.
Overall, the food was tasty and the ingredients seemed good, but they really need to tighten up the...
