We went there on a sunday afternoon. There were no other people waiting for their orders before us.

took 15 minutes to serve a piece of cold apple pie. The cake was not worthy to be waited 20 minutes for. It was not heated or it was done anything to it that would have taken 20 minutes.

the chai latte sadly only tasted like bland milk.

i took my phone out of my bag and had to pull out my bottled water. I put the water on our table and the barkeeper gave me a shady look for it. Literally the moment I should have left my table. I then realised that I did something wrong and I immediately put the bottled water in my bag.

You should really work on your attitude towards your customers.

The waitress told us that the apple pie would be served with whipped cream, we asked for ice cream.

They did not serve it whipped cream, but with ice cream, which I was pleased with.

After receiving the apple pie, I asked if the ice cream is instead of the whipped cream, because we did not get any whipped cream and they said yes. To top it all of you had the audacity to charge us for the ice cream. The ice cream was charged as "bottled water" on the bill.

When brining us the bill you did NOT EVEN MENTION anything about the ice cream being charged as the bottled water, and I HAD TO ASK ABOUT IT.

We enjoyed authentic Hungarian dinner in this charming, centrally-located spot with a very cozy atmosphere. The staff’s service was exceptional: warm, friendly, and with excellent English skills. My partner and I really appreciated their recommendations, attention to detail, and the great sense of humor they showed while serving us. We opted for the Goulash soup and the tasting platter to share (beef stew with nokedli), and we couldn’t have made a better choice!

The food was delicious, you can really taste the care and love they put into every dish. Although the place is small, that makes it even more special. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation, but I would definitely recommend booking in advance.

I was so surprised - the restaurant didn’t have anyone in it when we got there at about 6:30pm. The menu looked great, so we gave it a chance! And it definitely didn’t disappoint!! The food was DELICIOUS and the service was impeccable. James, our server, was absolutely wonderful - offering recommendations for food, as well as things to do and see while we are in Budapest. He went above and beyond! By the time we left, the outdoor space was entirely full and the people we convinced to come eat there said their meals were sooooo good!
