Széchenyi Bath Cafeteria — Restaurant in Budapest

Rubbish canteen food, only smaller portions than other canteens in Budapest and for nearly double the price. And in a regular canteen, you get to eat off of proper places with proper utensils, here everything is plastic. On top of this, the most outrageous thing is that they automatically charged a 10% service fee on our lunch, but there was no service at all other that a restaurant worker spooning food from a bin to a plastic plate. Its all about ripping foreigners off. There are tons of other spas in Hungary, where they don't charge roughly 30 eur for entry. Even Rudas is cheaper, which is in the center. Here the main Sauna is under construction and either You live with the available tiny sauna, or you have to pay extra to use another larger one to use it within a sauna program, which does not comply with sauna session of any protocol, just a guy goofing off. If you want to eat sausages for 20 eur, just come here, but better try a larger outdoor one like Paskál, which is 50 percent of the price, or Rudas...

Awfully overpriced food on 90's school lunch level, line for about 20 minutes. You could have a whole lunch elsewhere for the price of one serving of their cold fries. Even though they won't serve you at the table or bring you food, they will charge you 1000 huf (2,5 eur) 'service fee' without telling you. There are pidgeons flying around, which is kinda cute, but also pidgeons are rats with wings. The worst part is that it's your ONLY option as they won't let you leave the baths and then re-enter without paying the (high)...
