Yayla Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Budapest

What an absolute rip off! I ordered the jumbo falafel plate on Wolt, and the photo on the app had at least 15 falafel in it. It's a jumbo plate, so that felt representative of what I would get. I've attached a photo of the actual dish. SIX falafel in a jumbo falafel plate. They do have a regular falafel plate too. I'm assuming. They give you the ingredients in it and ask you to make the falafel at home! An absolute rip off.

Look at my other reviews of restaurants. I have never left anything less than 5 starts for a restaurant, unless something was terribly underwhelming....

Good food, helpful and friendly staff.

Even if you normally don't go for kebab like me, still check this place out if you're near. They'll ask the important questions about what you might want as part of your meal and will cater to your taste. They're not shy to point out the better options to try from their menu (as in, if you want to try their baklava, go for the pistachio one).

As a Dutch person this was utterly disgusting. The dough roll where the "food" was wrapped in was cold and never seen any warm source.

Now I know that Budapest is not known for their kebab scene. But I urge any Dutch person to avoid any kebabplace in this country, yes even when you are drunk.

The last shred of selfrespect that you have, spent it at Macdonalds or something. But not at these "kebab"places. Their food is bad. Very very...
