During my recent visit to Salt n Pepper restaurant, I had high expectations for a satisfying dining experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I left feeling disappointed.
Upon ordering pancakes, I received a dosa made from batter for fritters, which tasted unpleasantly bad. This unexpected substitution was quite disappointing. When I politely addressed the issue with the staff, instead of receiving understanding or an apology, I encountered arrogance and rudeness. The staff member's dismissive attitude and insistence that "pancakes are only made this way" were both unprofessional and disheartening.
In addition to the mix-up with my order, the overall level of customer service left much to be desired. The lack of accountability and the refusal to acknowledge the mistake only exacerbated the situation.
While the restaurant may have its positive aspects, the unpleasant experience overshadowed any potential merits. Encountering such disregard for customer satisfaction in a dining establishment is truly disappointing.
In conclusion, my visit to Salt n Pepper was marked by poor service and a lack of attention to detail. I sincerely hope that the management takes feedback seriously and implements measures to improve both the quality of their food and their customer interactions...
Read moreI always hesitated to go these restaurants as I thought these places are much expensive and not worth to try. But these are one of the best places in fort kochi to thrill your taste buds without making hole in your pocket. I went there for my dinner and ordered one fish fry ghee roast and porotta. For that fish fry, we have to wait for some 10 15 minutes as it is live. There we can select wide range of fishes for different price ranges also. The fish tawa fry was EXCELLENT and the Masala was also great. It served along with some veggie salad. The staff were very friendly and the place was very lively... The only problem I felt was they didn't offer any toilet/Washroom. That's why one star less. If you want to taste seafood at an economic price, visit this place. If we consider food along with the ambiance it would be always a...
Read moreVery cheap delicious food. I've tried fried rice and fried noodles in every single place I visited in India. Everytime they would make it Indian style, with spices and chilly. Not real friend rice/noodles. But in this place they just nailed it. It wasn't particularly cheap but the taste was right and to be honest 3 euros for a big portion and a drink is quiet a deal. Every time I visited the food took no time to come out and the waiter was friendly. Maybe because it was low season? There's lots of mosquitoes around so bring repelent. The fish grill looked yum but way out of my budget. They also have pizzas and pastas. During my visit to Kochi I kept coming back....
