Get Fruity — Restaurant in Bali

I don't know how this warung can get so nice reviews. I ordered today prawn lumpia and Mango sticky rice and could eat none of them. The pictures speak by themselves. Now trying to get a refund from Grab as the owner didn't even offer to refund it pretexting that Grab doesn't allowed direct refunds. This is wrong as Grab makes refund only when their drivers don't do their job properly or handle the food without care. But what a shame to give this kind of food! The lumpia were not rolled properly (not rolled at all actually!), their skin was glued with the other lumpia, far too much salad and less fillings. You could feel the despise of the cook for the clients. And the prawns! One small prawn by lumpia, looking like plastic and with no smell at all! Impossible to serve this! And I often make my own spring rolls so I know perfectly how it should be. The Mango sticky rice was not better, with unripe Mango, and only few bits instead of the full or half fruit depending on the size. In Thailand, I used to eat this sweet dish every week for 50 baths (about 22rb, you get a full Mango, very sweet and delicious). I offered the owner that he sends a driver (only 2 km from my place) and take back the untouched dishes and refund money. He didn't want to do it, not because of money, but to comply with Grab policy! What a joke! And the usual threat about karma... If karma is going to struck someone, it would be his warung...

I love having breakfast here! I’m a big fan of the banana and peanut butter, it tastes amazing, I can’t have enough of this, it’s already my 5th time coming here. Also the mango sticky rice is really good.

Update 2025: I came back after one year here, but I’m pretty disappointed the service quality decreased. The sticky rice is not that creamy as before. We waited a lot for the food, being the only 2 persons in the restaurant. I guess the lady didn’t understood what we asked as we did not get the complete order and we got our drinks after I finished eating. It was just a pineapple and orange juice… Though I offered a 5 star a year ago I will...

We ordered 2 juices and banana bread for take away and it took 25 minutes for it to be made. The order was also wrong as I didn’t order strawberry but banana and pineapple and got strawberry and banana. I didn’t want to wait again so didn’t say anything and paid the higher price for this. Once I got home the strawberry juice was only 2/3 full despite it not being open yet which is strange and the banana juice wasn’t coming out of the bottle because of how thick it was.
