Little Talks is a lovely hidden gem in Ubud that brings together good food, thoughtful books, and beautiful art in such a graceful way. One thing I really appreciate is their partnership with Cinta Bahasa. If you're a foreign guest interested in learning Bahasa Indonesia, you get a 10% discount on language classes. And if you're a student or staff from Cinta Bahasa, you’ll enjoy 15% off your orders here. It’s a wonderful exchange of culture and community.

The food? Simply delightful. I personally love the nasi goreng ijo — it’s naturally colored with green chili, but don’t worry, it’s not spicy at all. The balance between the rice, pickled cucumber, sautéed cabbage, and egg is just right. They also offer vegetarian options, which is always appreciated.

Their chocolate milkshake is another favorite — sweet, but not overly so. When paired with the savory green fried rice, it creates such a comforting and satisfying combination. It’s the kind of meal you remember fondly.

One of the most charming things about Little Talks is their book collection. They have a great selection of English and Indonesian books — from politics, feminism, to literature and beyond. You’re welcome to read them while you enjoy your drink, or even purchase one to take home. For book lovers and introverts, it’s the kind of place that feels like a little sanctuary.

The parking area is located downstairs and can be accessed from the side of Little Talks. Also, the restroom is very clean — which adds even more comfort for every guest.

And let’s not forget the art. Little Talks often collaborates with local artists for exhibitions, so there’s always something inspiring on the walls. If you love good food, good books, and a peaceful space filled with art and soul, Little Talks is absolutely worth a visit.

We were after an iced vietnamese coffee and after seeing the great reviews, we headed to this café. We ordered a regular one and one with coconut cream (apparently dairy free). It was served with a phin filter on top which looked nice but one of them was missing a handle so it was hard to take it off since it was still hot. The coffee tasted absolutely sour, bitter and it was undrinkable. I'm not sure if the coconut cream was off, there were chunks floating around and it tasted spoiled. I had two sips and gave up. The regular was drinkable despite having a weird aftertaste to it. I didn't ask for a replacement as they didn't have any other plant-based options. When we walked up to pay, we weren't asked how the coffee was or why I didn't drink mine even though she cleaned up the table before we even paid. It was pricey, not a good service and we wouldn't...

I saw many people from around the world visiting this place. They severs many kind of food and drinks. The place is perfect for work coz not too loud (but sometimes when other guests chat and laugh it's different condition...), great wifi connection (my own card's wifi just disappeared there) and lots of electricity connection too.

If you into books too, this is your place. They have a wide collection of books even if just bored waiting or looking for inspiration. I saw my friend who works as freelance lay outer took a look some books there for reference.

They also severs cakes, ice-cream and I wish they have apple pie. Ahhahahahaha... But it's all enough for me. My fave of this place is their coffee and tea.

It's a bit more humid there so wear something light if you wanna stay there long enough. And don't worry, they have fan...
