This restaurant is a gem!
I went there with my family one evening last week, don't remember the day. I loved so many things about this place, I am not sure where to begin : )
On the ground floor, they have a stunning bar sharing space with a barbershop, art-deco sofas and cafe-style tables outside, looking onto the street and people passing by. I just love this kind of atmosphere and courageous outside-the-box thinking! It feels like the kind of place you just want to mingle and hang out. Or get a drink and a haircut before you head upstairs to the restaurant. lol!
Anyway, it gets better! As you take the stairway to go up, a wonderful thing happens. You are suddenly transported to a Greek Island, as you pass by intimate taverna style tables with people dining under dim lighting, rising amphitheatrically in tiers. You get to see and smell the food while going up the stairs on your way to the main seating area. LOVE IT!
The restaurant itself has a beautiful simplicity about it. It is chic taverna style with a laid back atmosphere. Food is AMAZING and the closest thing to what I get back home in Greece, that I have ever found in Bali. It's authentic Greek / Mediterranean cuisine with quality ingredients and creative, delicious dishes. Very good and friendly service. The staff is efficient and attentive.
I hardly ever write reviews or do recommendations but I just felt compelled to share with everyone.
Had a wonderful evening and and can't wait to go back! The food was so good, it is addictive : )
Highly, highly...

My husband and I recently dined at this charming Greek taverna in Ubud called Noema, and it was a delightful experience that transported us back to Greece with every bite. This is the first place outside of Greece where we've found truly authentic Greek cuisine that resonates with our memories of the flavors we enjoyed back home.
The cheese pie was a perfect blend of pastry and rich, creamy cheese – a mouthwatering start to our meal. The highlight, however, was the chicken Souvlaki gyros; the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, enveloping us in a wave of Mediterranean spices and tenderness. Additionally, the homemade pita bread served with eggplant babaganoush was a revelation. The babaganoush had just the right smoky flavor, complementing the soft, warm pita perfectly.
Every dish we tried was a testament to the genuine Greek culinary craftsmanship of the chef. The ambiance of the taverna added to our experience, making us feel as though we were dining in a little corner of Greece.
For anyone craving authentic Greek food in Ubud, Noema is the place to go. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary journey to Greece. We'll certainly be...

Very nice and professional big restaurant with a nice flair and Greek music. Restaurant is clean the toilets was clean The food was yummy. I had the grilled chicken Souvlaki. They told me Souvlaki is if the meat stands 1 day in special marinade. Anyway the chicken was a little dry but you can dip it on the phenomenal tzatziki. The chicken himself had a really nice special taste. The tzatziki was so yummy, really Greek style, it was definitely the smallest portion on the plate. Please more tzatziki for the customers :-) The wrap, the salad and the sliced potatoes was very good Nice and professional food presentation Price, quality and quantity performance is good Kind and smiling staff that asking if everything is ok
