Went to see a gig here at the end of January 2019. First person was the bouncer, what a big ignorant lad he was, absolutely no personality and communicated with grunts instead of any recognisable language. When we got in there was a nice comfortable crowd and bar staff were lovely. Even though they were busy they still made time to talk and smile (bouncer take note, assuming you can read). Within 20 minutes however the place was jam packed, I mean wedged to the doors with no place to move. The heat began to rise to uncomfortable levels and people were getting annoyed waiting for the show to start. Next up was the support act, who wouldn't speak into the mic but would blast your ears with high pitched squeals as an excuse for singing, nothing like the act we went to see. When she was done we assumed the main act would make an appearance soon after, but no, it was over an hour waiting in the uncomfortable heat for the main act, a ploy by the button factory to make us buy more alcohol no doubt. The main act was excellent and the stage was really good, and apart from the heat and overcrowded venue it was a good gig.

I'd be reluctant to go to another act here unless I had no option. Plenty of room for improvement, and all possible if it were not for the usual Irish greed, get as many as you can in the door and then take them for...

Great gig by Guns reloaded and Whiplash. A full house of standing only and I was glad I arrived early to get a spot at the bar as at 62 and suffering from a stress fracture to my knee I needed something to lean on. The bar staff were very friendly and courteous until later in the evening there was a change of personal. I asked a barman for a pint of Guinness. And he began shaking his head in total defiance and ushered me to go to the far side of the bar. I told him I'd been getting service from my position all evening and nobody else had a problem with serving me there. He then served up a larger, and when I told him I'd ordered a Guinness, he went into shaking head mode again. I cancelled the order. This guy was standing holding two (plastic) containers in his hands staring at the floor before I asked him for a drink? If you don't want to serve drink don't work behind a bar. Two guys that were standing beside me said they had never witnessed anything like it. They also got served while standing beside me afterwards. Even bought me a drink. But I was so annoyed I just left it. Won't...

Nice vibe, good acoustics but the middle aged bouncer threatened to not let me in (after standing in the front of the queue for 2 hours), because we were 'blocking the entry', even though we were just standing in the middle of the pavement and there was no space to stand elsewhere. Very unfriendly and aggressive guy. Then, after opening the gates, the other bouncer didnt have the list with him where the people with special tickets from other Providers were listed, so all the people who were behind us in the queue started pouring in and we had to wait. The said bouncer spent the hour before smoking cigarettes and chatting with his mates, instead of searching the said list... Come on guys. Kind of ruined an otherwise great concert for me and was very unnecessary, especially the...

The Concert was out I'd this world... Marcin is definitely a Paganini of our times, it's not humanly possible to play like this... his technique, soul, humility, sense of humour, talent have no equal... His rapport with audience was fantastic too. It broke my heart when he got emotional playing Chopin for all of us Emigrants, not just Poles. I was not sure about not going to Wardruna the very same night, but I do not regret we chose Marcin... The venue itself was not up to standard, tired looking bit neglected, toilets in need of attention, and on top of that charging 4euro per coat in cloakroom and 8.50euro per 0.4l if beer in plastic container...

A lovely venue just in the heart of Dublin city which makes travelling handy.I was there for a good quality Turkish band, Yeni Türkü. Their concert was absolutely amazing! The energy was electric, and the band's performance was incredible. However, the venue lacked air conditioning, making it feel like a sauna for the musicians. I couldn't believe how they managed to deliver such a high-energy show for over two hours without a single break in that heat. The band deserves a huge round of applause! Thanks Button Factory for hosting Yeni Türkü.

Such a cool spot for live music! Saw a gig here recently, and it was amazing—great sound, awesome vibe, and you can see the stage from anywhere. Staff were sound, and the place was clean and well-organized. Drinks are a bit pricey, but that’s Dublin for you! Love that they host loads of different acts, from smaller bands to bigger names. If you’re into gigs, definitely check it out. Always a fun night here! 🎶 P.S. Get there early to grab a good spot!
