Don’t eat here, avoid this place and go elsewhere with your coins. Not surprised to see others have similar story. Trash service and even nastier management and employees. Came here a couple years ago when it was nice, many times. Decent portions and lots of people eating and enjoying in groups. Women serving there had class and respect for patrons. It’s not like this anymore. It’s empty and dark looking with greedy chancers working there. So recently I ordered food after getting a craving and had shockingly bad service. Got my bag and it was so light in weight it made me suspicious, they tie it very well so you cant see the tiny portions. Checked the bag before leaving and driving an hour back home. Glad I did because all the €12 meals came with one tiny piece of meat and one small piece of cartilage with 2 tablespoons of stew. Not even a quarter of the stew container filled, half container of jollof. 3 meals would feed one adult. He said they have to cut meat to sell more later because they’re getting more expensive. So I’m meant to pay the same price for far less food? He says “it’s to-go portion”. Apparently I look like I was born yesterday. I asked for more food and the man serving says “you’re not getting extras, and no refund”. So I asked for manager and the old mumu opened his mouth to say he cannot give me the normal size food or a refund. I’ve never touched the food. I only looked at clear packages. I demand my €52 and won’t leave until I have all of it. He yells at me loudly “would you shut up!” talks rubbish about how I wouldn’t behave like this at any other restaurant. Absolutely right, I wouldn’t. I also wouldn’t get disgusting service like this at any other restaurant to need to. Never have. I had to verbally fight him twice for all of my money before he went next door and got all the refund back. I paid much less down the road for much better service and food portions. The new place also had a sign up explaining that they’re charging €2 more since prices have gone up. They don’t serve customer less. Happy to pay honest businesses. As much as I love Nigerian food and culture I don’t support places like this one, trying to take advantage. For €50 you can easily feed a family of 5 in any other places in Ireland. If you’re trying to cut corners at least don’t be shady to paying customers and fight them when they call you out and don’t want to accept the bare minimum. Will never go back again. Plenty of better African food spots in the city that are respectful of you and your service. They need new management or...

Ordered from just eat. They accepted the order, then phoned and said they didn't have two out of three things I ordered. Woman on phone said they had another thing as a substitute (which I actually just said ok to to avoid the stress) then she said "I will check the price" and came back and said the price is not the same so she wouldn't send it (Don't know why she even suggested it if she wasn't going to do it). She asked me if I could cancel, which I couldn't because they had accepted the order on the app. Her tone the whole time was that of "why are you bothering me with this". EDIT:Managed to secure refund by contacting Just Eat directly. Still wouldn't recommend the place given how rude the staff are. Anywhere else would not have worried over two dishes not being exactly the same price after someone's been agreeable enough to accept a substitution (that wasn't even my idea) in the first place. Scroll down and read responses to negative comments to get an idea of the mentality of the owners. Pretty much the dismissive...

I decided to give another shot two weeks after my first visit to this restaurant thinking there will be improvement although was really craving for African food. Tasteless and very small portion. I ordered Vegetable soup with poundo, I got Okro instead. It was dry ugly soup, 3 assorted meat with bones and when I complained thinking the waiter would change the meats but dude walked out on me with attitude. He stood across the counter, tells me his mind and continued his chores. When I called for his attention the 3rd time he said he’s busy... I paid €17 for a meal and deserve better. Unfortunately that triggered me so I flung the soup across the kitchen and boom I got his attention. It escalated, however the customers present complained about the same dude (staff), the portion and how tasteless basic the food. I had Chinese food instead for €9. Dublin needs more African restaurant...

This is my go to place for Nigerian dishes here in Dublin, the space is quiet small but was managed properly to fit a number of people, there’s a waiting area for take away and over time they have been able to switch the interior of the place, the wash hand sink is at an extreme end which can be annoying to get if the place is full. Services can be very slow some days. The food is always nice, always nice I’ve never had a bad experience here in terms of the taste of food, they offer delivery services as-well as take away. The music 💃🏾 it gives the vibe of a typical Nigerian bukka/garden chill vibe it really feels like Nigeria when in here. The pricing is really fair quantity and quality of food are good. € 10 gets you a full happy tummy.

Your one stop shop for Nigerian food. Even though they say it’s African, you’ll get more of Nigerian food there. From Jollof rice to white rice and red stew to plantain, pounded yam/eba and all the soup variety. The food tastes good and you get good value for your money because the portion is more than enough. Food is relatively cheap about 10 euros for a plate of jollof rice and 3 big pieces of chicken. Take away is affordable too and they do deliveries. The restaurant is a bit tight so the best time to go there is during work hours(10am- 4pm)

The food is quite original, I got fufu and panga soup, the soup was spicy and thick as i like however the meat was really dry and tripes as well, i couldnt chew them, the fufu was great. Price is really good for the amount of food given. We waited for almost 30 minutes to get our command, 45min to get the food so the service is quite slow. The ambiance is okay, nothing amazing, however the menu is a bit greasy and poorly made. Overall good experience!
