Han Yang Court 潮福城 — Restaurant in Dublin

If I could give negative stars I would. The male staff which we think is the owner/manager because he didnt bother to introduce himself, was rude and unapologetic. We reserved a room for food and karaoke for 15 people at 1930H a week before. On the night they gave away our room and gave us a tiny room instead. We spoke to the manager and very rudely he told us to go and come back at 8 and just said it's busy. No apologies he wasnt even even looking at us when he's talking, as if he was lookin down on you. We came back at 8 and told us 30 mins more... talk about integrity.. we were waiting standing nobody even bothered to offer us drinks or a place ro wait. We were just standing inside the hellishly cramped space and staff just kept passing by us. Once we finally got the room they had the audacity to ask us to pay first 50 euros per person whein there was already a pre-agreed 300 euros for the whole place consumable for rhe night. We would have looked for another place for karaoke and drinks but every other place is fully booked for the night. This place was the only one which had rooms left and i can see why. This place was our last resort. Oh and as for the..karaoke song choices is great thats a plus but equipment it is shiiiiiiiite it like the mic and speakers are underwater. Food was 5/10. The place smelled of cigarettes and i saw some customers smoking indoors and the owner just ignored it. The rooms were dirty you can see the dirt on the vents which havent been cleaned since who knows when. The paint and wallpapers were all rotten. On the plus side the some of the other younger staff though were nice but the owner himseld is an A-hole. When we paid the bill the onwner kept hassling us to get out. Honestly never seen any business owner as arrogant and rude such as him. Just his arrogant face ruined the night for me. As we left no thank you or apologies at all. Oh almost forgot they gave us an already opened half bottle of Soju; who knows where it came from, on the house to make up for all the mishaps....

I can honestly say all the bad reviews about this embarrassment of a restaurant is real and factual. I do not recommend at all unless you are a glutton for punishment.

My recommendation: There's a better restaurant beside it named Lao. Cleaner place, nicer staff and better food. Also infront of them just across the street The Boba place which is way better place for...

Nice dinner experience: the prawns, crabs, razor clams, mussels and all the vegetables are very fresh. I had the opportunity to show my little girl how to peel a prawn by herself. She had fun.

There a plenty of sauce options to choose from: teriyaki, soy sauce, chilli oil, sesame sauce, freshly chopped garlic, coriander, spring onions. The combination of the fresh herbs and spices add flavours and aroma to the freshly cooked food. My personal favourite is fried tofu, fresh tofu and fried yam.

Not a big fan of red meat. But you do have a choice of thinly cut beef, lamb and pork pieces. And if you are a mushroom fanatic like me, you will definitly want to add their Shitaki, golded needles and oyster mushrooms into your pot.

If you are in a hurry, this might not be a great choice for a quick bite. But if you are planning to have a night out with your friends or family, and try to cut everyone off electronic devices, hotpot is a must-- you will have to get up to pick your food, put them in the pot at the right time, and keep an eye out when they are ready not too overly cooked... In my opinion it is an excellent opportunity to participate in the making of your own food while having fun with your friends.

Overall it’s a bit crowded but the food is decent. I enjoy oyster pancake, duck, egg mix mince beef porridge, sweet and sour pork there (top rank in order). For the bbq, the pork is good quality, and I always take the most pork other than beef and chicken cos the pork is just soooo good I’m glad the karaoke rooms and upstairs have been renewed now, it looks more clean. The songs were so outdated, but now I can finally play songs from my phone after connecting to the YouTube display. The rgb lights are giving the vibe to sing. Also, non relevant but there is this waiter who is pretty hot and friendly. He’s tanned skin and kinda masculine with fluent English. He’s probably the nicest out of all staffs. Tho I’m aware some don’t give the best customer service. But If you like good duck and pork, and good looking man, just go for it...
