We thought you could only eat well in Italy, but this restaurant proved us wrong. Unfortunately, we decided to eat here on my birthday. The bread from the bruschetta was totally hard and dry, it was probably a few days old and no longer fresh. We then waited OVER AN HOUR for the main course. We were about to leave, which we should have done, because the food was really awful. Everything just tasted old and rancid. I don't think I've ever eaten anything worse. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my meal. It was also very loud in the restaurant. A group of people were talking extremely loudly and disturbing everyone there. One child was sitting there with a tablet and watching videos at full volume. All in all, unfortunately, really bad and unsatifying. We will never come back!

My wife ordered the chicken dish with shaved Parmesain cheese. The chicken cut was thin and a bit dry. However, she did enjoy her dinner. A side of cooked spinach was delicious! A decent tasting wine, nice wine glass, and a full pour! I came for the steak and so...
Read moreDuring our recent visit to Il Tocco di Bacco in Florence, we were welcomed with warm, friendly service that made the dining experience truly enjoyable. We started with the Prosciutto e Melone, a chilled appetizer perfect for a hot summer day. The main courses did not disappoint either—the gnocchi was soft and flavorful, complemented beautifully by a side of well-seasoned cooked vegetables. The spaghetti was another standout, cooked to perfection and served with a rich, satisfying sauce.
To complete our meal, we enjoyed a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio, which was light, crisp, and the ideal pairing for our dishes. Il Tocco di Bacco delivered delicious food, impeccable service, and a relaxed atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot for anyone...
