If you are ok to be treated like an annoyance by people who handle cash with their bare hands before making your sandwich again with those same bare hands, then you might like this place.

The sandwiches are very good but the service and hygiene are horrid by developed country standards. The cashier snapped at me after I asked a couple questions about the menu. After taking my order he got back to casually texting on his phone while biting his finger nails, so I assumed someone someone else would be taking the order.

After a couple mins, he put his phone down, and began making my sandwich with his same bare hands that were just in his mouth (without washing them of course). We’re not talking dry ingredients. He stuck his whole bare hand into the giant bowl of mozzarella cheese balls in water before plucking a giant wet mozzarella to spread onto the bread. Poor customer service is one thing but at least give these guys some gloves. Not hard.

It was no wonder this place was dead empty and the sandwich places next door (there are several) were all packed. This place is being mismanaged at the expense of customers health. Very unfortunate because I ate at the La Prosciutteria in Milan and it was undoubtedly one of the best sandwiches of my entire life - but very different atmosphere and customer service and...

Seven hours of walking in Uffizi museum left us super exhausted. Deciding on this restaurant was the best decision made. It was an absolute lifesaver and truly an unexpected highlight of our Florence trip! Its location is perfect, just a short, easy stroll from all the major attractions, including the Uffizi. We began our meal with a fantastic cheese board, offering a delightful variety of cheeses alongside two delicious small portions of jam – a truly great start. However, the highlight was the cheese fondue. We've enjoyed fondue before but what we experienced here was on an entirely different level. The flavor was unbelievably delicious. It was rich, creamy, full of flavor that we'll never forget. To balance the richness, we also savored a fresh burrata salad, which provided the perfect complementary freshness. We started with a simple idea of having few glasses of wine and something to munch, but we ended up enjoying the hot delicious cheese fondue with a whole bottle of wine. The entire experience was terrific!!!. The place seemed like an ordinary place, a very basic setup but its holds the most delicious fondue & incredible wines. The service was also fast, friendly & attentive. For anyone visiting Florence, I cannot recommend their fondue highly enough. it's an...

Come ready to eat. The food is incredible and inexpensive. Everything is made fresh while you wait. Prosciutto and other preserved meats sliced for you. The olive pate is incredible and so are the cheeses. The grande comes with anchovies on a spread, served on a piece of bread. Even if you don't like anchovies give this a try. It's different when they aren't canned. Order the grande plank and it will feed 3 or four people. The indoors has A/C, but you should try to get one of the benches on the sidewalk for the best experience.

The staff is helpful and friendly and most speak English, but try out your Italian. Don't rush yourself because eating out in Italy is supposed to be a social event. You will never feel rushed by the staff here on in any of the restaurants in Florence.

After visiting the Galleria degli Uffizi, walk down here and enjoy a meal (it's a few minutes away). La Prosciutteria is suitable for a group of friends...

Nice environment, very kind and helpful staff. Nice wine but super basic tastes... Really disappointed by the selection and quality of the meat and the cheeses. Save yourself some money and go at a supermarket to get (probably) better quality meat. They look good but taste weird Answer to the store's reply. We really enjoyed our wine as I already said but the platter your staff brought us had meat that was smelling weird and a bresaola that was really tough almost too hard to chew plus the three cheeses were basically the same (taste wise) and not very pleasant to consume. I am really disappointed that you do not show any interest in your costumers opinions and try to criticise anyone that did not have a perfect experience.
