rude staff. would not serve us for no reason. Me and my boyfriend went into the cafe to get some refreshments and was trying to figure out how the table service works as we the tables were quite far from the cafe and we were unsure if they did table service. there was a poster in side the cafe saying to sit out at a table and a waiter would be with us shortly so that’s what I did while my boyfriend went to the bathroom as he had cut his arm and it was bleeding. i was sitting outside (nobody was coming to serve me) and then I see the man telling my boyfriend to leave and that we will not be served there and he was not allowed use the bathroom. Come to this place if you want to be berated for bringing in outside drink (a smoothie no less)! Staff is extremely disrespectful and will talk about you in Italian even though all you want to do is sit down and get away from the heat. They didn’t explain what the issue was, instead just started yelling at me for having a smoothie in my hand. My family wanted to sit down and enjoy some sandwiches, but instead we got a rude lady patron who likes to make fun of people for not understanding Italian. The only ray of light in this place was our waiter, who fought the rude lady patron to get us a seat at their fairly empty bar. It’s a lovely place to start the day. We had cappuccinos before heading out for the day. I accidentally left my phone and Maria who was behind the counter is an angel!!! Not only for calling my emergency contact (husband, who’s a phone was at the apartment) and instead spoke my groggy father who thought it was a crank call.
