Most of the restaurants I go to often require me to carry a sense of prudence. However, the moment I was greeted and welcomed at this warm establishment, my vigilance wore away and I understood that this restaurant was not one to be underestimated. I carefully examined the menu for a meal I’d enjoy and decided to go for a fettucine, a pasta I had little experience with. I was comfortable with this choice and was later happily greeted with a friendly plate covered in comforting parmesan cheese! I had taken 5 delicious pasta slurps and I remembered to snap a picture of this ethereal meal. It was so good that my sister felt the urge for gelato, and although I hesitated as I was full from the pasta, suddenly, my stomach made the bold decision to make space for sweet citrus lemon gelato. I took a bite and fell in love again with the authenticity and comfort of the meals. I almost wanted to jump up and down to release my exuberance! My experience here was like a moth touching a flame for the first time, jumping into a bin of freshly dried warm laundry, and other similes I cannot fully describe. My grasp on words falls short to describe my experience in detail. Yet I hope this (rather comprehensive) review invites you to enjoy this affable...
Read moreWe almost missed it but thank god we didn’t!! We entered first just to have something quick and we ordered just a ravioli! We walked out with a promise to come back the same day for our dinner! It was just me & my friend and when we came back! We ordered 5 dishes + 2 drinks.
We ordered fettuccini Alfredo, ravioli with cognac sauce, penne with arrabbiata sauce and 2 desserts that included a tiramisu and a strawberry ice cream!! Everything is gold! You MUST TRY!!! It’s worth it! Our total was like €70 and I don’t regret nothing!
Sir, who sat us down and made me a killer classic negroni, is the sweetest person on the planet! We realised we were holding them up after we left the place because I didn’t wanted to move! They never once told us to leave or rushed us! We both are so thankful & so grateful for the food!
We appreciate the kindness you showed us and to both the sir and the madam, thank you so much! If I come back to rome, I’m definitely...

We went for lunch.. We got one lasagne, one prawn risotto and a cappuccino. The lasagne was deconstructed, so no layers, (which is why I like lasagne) a creamy tomato sauce on some pasta on a plate. No garnish, no little pieces of tomato or onion.. indicating the sauce is bought rather than made. Disappointing, but okay.
The risotto used long grain rice, and therefore was not a risotto.
Risotto takes skill to make, I cannot do it without great effort and attention. This restaurant skips the care and attention and makes something else; "Boiled long grain rice with those tiny frozen prawns.. Drenched in a canned tomato sauce with butter melted through it"
Take a look at my photos of both dishes and compare with the image of risotto the restraunt put up.
When I complained about the risotto, I was simply shown the door.
Oh, and as others have said.. we were also charged...
