Me and my husband went to this "Irish pub" last Friday, and we sat down at 00:18. We ask for a beer, and for a Irish mule, and it took 52 minutes for the guy to serv us. during these 52 minutes, we saw many people entering the pub, and being served. The pub was not that crowded, and it seemed more important to clean empty spaces than take care of clients requests. There were a lot of employees there, and we got one that was overwhelmed and we don't know with what, as we said, it was not full. My husband classified this "pub" with a 1 star, that for us was the correct evaluation, and the person behind this profile was kind enough to answer this, as you can see on the attachment below. Instead of admitting the bad service, or even say sorry, the problem are the clients. The same clients that waited almost 1hour for 1 simple request, that almost seemed like we asked something that was only available in Ireland, and they went there to pick what we wanted, and it was supposed to be extremely thankful for that. If it was possible, not even 1 star we would give you.
Administration Answer:
"Finally we got an answer at your 1 star judgement…so first of all i’m sorry about your bad experience, i think you’re exaggerating the waiting time of your drinks, anyway to give one star because you waited for too long is cruel and i’ve said all..second, to serve table is a huge favour that we make, so if you have seen people taking drinks inside, you could do it the same avoiding your 3 century of attendance…third, our team has build to be very welcoming and respectfull…maybe can happen somebody forget something maybe can happen a misunderstanding maybe can happen a mistake, nobody is perfect! For sure you’re not a perfect customers, i’m giving 1 star to your explications becouse without any sense…Adios"
Client Reanswer:
"i think you’re exaggerating the waiting time of your drinks" - We checked on google the time we have arrived and the time we got the 2 incredible difficult drinks. Yes, from 00.18 to 01.09. We expressed our discontent to your employee, and payed everything right away on the same time.
"second, to serve table is a huge favour that we make, so if you have seen people taking drinks inside, you could do it the same avoiding your 3 century of attendance" - I did, 2 times. I was told everything was on the making, to remain on my table.
"third, our team has build to be very welcoming and respectful" - So you are saying that we were like, invisible, nobody saw or noted us?
"maybe can happen somebody forget something maybe can happen a misunderstanding maybe can happen a mistake, nobody is perfect!" - That's why we have the reviews here. To learn from the mistakes, you about your work, and us to not visit you any other time! :)
"For sure you’re not a perfect customers" - Of course! We are not perfect either. That's why on the 1st time we rated something, we get those wonderful messages.
" i’m giving 1 star to your explications becouse without any sense…Adios" - And this is why we are taking this answers to the "Irish Pub" mother house.
Kind Regards,
Vera...

I went in late on a quiet Tuesday well after the witching hour to watch the culmination of Nadal v Djokovic.
There were several tables outside all busy with folks just having a good evening with friends.
I went inside and got a bar seat to watch the Tele. I had two nice pints of Guinness, a chat with each of the bar staff who were very amiable. I even got a good night wish from some folks who gave me the impression they had been in there before.
Oh, and the music playing was very good. I hadn't realised I was a fan of jazz, just what have I been up to all these years.
This is a really good place to just get a pint, probably a bite, and just chill out. Hey you're in Venice, there's only one proper Venice after all.
Day one of my trip and I would imagine I'll be trying another Guinness before my time is done here.
PS The tennis was just epic for anyone who missed it. The best two that we have seen on a tennis court,...
Read moreService from the man, with short dark hair, working 5 November 2022 does not reflect the amazing service the rest of Venice provides; rude, unwelcoming, could not converse and absolutely flabbergasted by his attitude.
17.11.22 update. This venue has stopped me replying to their response, says a lot.
My partner asked for Rose wine, they gave us sparkling rose wine, they'd removed the foil, I explained we don't like sparkling, the cork had not been removed and they tried to charge, they stormed off. That was the end of the conversation, I'd like to know why my behaviour was disgusting. If you go to Venice, go to an Italian bar.....they're amazing. Only bad experience whilst at this bar. We we're never asked...
