Since Venice is not well equipped with public restrooms, and existing restrooms seem to be quite far away in walking distance, I went into this place today and kindly requested to use their restrooms. I understand, that this is not appreciated in general, HOWEVER, I am 7 months pregnant and the waitress denied that I use their restroom. I even offered to pay an amount, which would’ve been more than their lowest beverages, but still she denied. There’s literally no difference from being a costumer paying 5€ for a coffee, or paying the same amount for the restroom. I hope this young lady never has to experience being pregnant, with a baby pressing on to her Blatter, and being denied to use a restroom! This is inhumane! I don’t care what kind of Institution a place is (high class, low class, whatever class), but restrooms should be accessible for the elderly, the disabled, and the pregnant - especially when willing to pay the monetary equivalent of being a regular customer. Unfortunately, I was so overwhelmed being denied to use the restroom, that I didn’t think fast enough to tell her “well then make me a coffee please” which would’ve made me a costumer and therefore eligible to use...
Read moreDisappointing. Food was ok, but not worth the price. If you are Italian, and you want a nice place to eat, you will not be impressed. Portions are big, but taste is average. Starters were overpriced with frozen fiori di zucca filled with ricotta, still frozen on the plate. The staff were kind and changed them, but equally what we had on the plate didn’t reflect in anyway what was shown on the menus. The tempura batter was thick and oily and nothing as described. Should it not have been written that the product was frozen? The primi were edible, but my mum could have could have cooked that better without billing me 92 euros in total (2 x starters, 2x primi, 1x cocktail and a glass of wine). Tagliolini with pistacchio pesto and seared tuna tasted nice, but honestly, the tuna wasn’t seared. Rather, it was well cooked. I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t trust again the blog we read...
