I would not recommend as a Gluten Free options. Yes, technically they have many Gluten Free options, but the taste of the food was terrible. Overall, Venice just stinks when it comes to creating a culinary experience for those who are sensitive to gluten. I recommend anyone who is sensitive to gluten to LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS when it comes to eating in Venice and definitely in this place specifically.
What went right: the service was great. We had 2 servers and they were super attentive and friendly. I will say when we asked what they recommended they didn’t say anything and now I know why - which leads me to…
What went wrong: I had the pasta with clams and my wife had a lasagna, both dishes GF. The pasta with clams was pathetic. There was hardly any taste to the dish and the clams were beyond tiny. The lasagna tasted like they opened a can of Chef Boyardee sauce and covered some GF noodles with it and some cheese on top. We literally took some nibbles and left. It...

We came because of the glutenfree offer, because I am celiac. We first tried Spaghetti Aglio Olio, they were okay but nothing special and also salt was missing. After that, we ordered Pizza. The glutenfree dough was okay (i definetely ate better ones before, but you have to be thankful for the possibility to get something glutenfree) but the toppings did not seem fresh (mushrooms from the jar). My boyfriend had a normal (not gf) Pizza and didn't like the dough as well, but the toppings were the bigger problem. He ordered a Vegetariana, and it came with carrots and cooked cauliflower on it. What the hell? It didn't look yummy at all. We are also vegan and therefore ordered the food without cheese, maybe it gets better when theres mozarella and parmesan on it. But i would recommend to eat...
Read moreOrdered two lasagnas. Both were microwaved, tasted old and mine was cold in the middle. I told the waiter this who offered to replace it however, this was at the end of the meal and nobody had asked us if everything was ok before this. I declined as it would've just been microwaved (probably a few days old lasagna).
The decor is old and could do with updating. There are definitely better places to eat in Venice.
Some of the staff were seen having meals in the restaurant around piles of menus.
We received the bill and were disappointed to see we were still charged full price as well as a cover charge despite me not eating my lasagna. My partner and I were way too tired after a day of walking therefore, we just couldn't be bothered arguing, paid and left. Such a shame!
I think this place would've done well in the 90's/early 00's however, modern day tourists expect much better for the prices...
