A good selection of ice cream flavors & some additional options like frozen yogurt & fruit slushy. The person helping us was extremely patient and willing to speak our language & put up with our attempt to speak theirs. No rushing, lots of smiles, all really appreciated on a hot day deep into sight seeing with the family. There is no option to sit inside the shop but there’s a nice option to enjoy under cover in the square of the church next store with toilets (.70 euros)...

Incredible gelato made by a passionate young guy who makes the flavours up himself! I was very impressed with this place- really some of the best gelato I've ever had anywhere! And the young guy making it was very kind and offered me to try several of his interesting creations for free. You will find the classics here, but also several unique combinations you might not usually think of. I had to go back for seconds it was so delicious. Looking forward to...

We bought ice creams with similar flavour names from a more famous shop, but the ones from Gelateria Impero were better! Much creamier and fresher tasting. The shop doesn’t have a fascia, but it’s right on the corner as you enter the square to see Dante’s statue. The owner is very friendly and more than happy to talk about his wonderful ice creams.
