Cruncheria — Restaurant in Verona

I was craving pizza near my current location and found this place through Google Maps. The service staff was friendly and could communicate in English.

As expected, the pizza was the highlight. There were many options to choose from, and I decided to give it a try. The bread was crunchy and not hard, but the ingredients were of high quality.

The only downside is that there are no chairs, so you have to stand while eating, and the store itself is quite small.

Possibly the best pizza on-the-go I've ever had. (I'm Italian, and from Rome, so I grew up on pizza on-the-go.)

Crust is crispy but not burnt, ingredients are fresh, and combined in original and very tasty ways (veggie example: pumpkin, mushrooms, and I don't remember what else, but it was de-li-cious). I took three pieces, for 3,60 EUR grand total! And service is simply impeccable: a heartfelt "buongiorno" upon entering the place, suggestions on the different pizzas, and even generous tasters ("assaggini"). This is the sort of places that make me feel proud...

This is one of the best pizzas in all of Italia. No doubt. This is the type of occasion where you skip a meal, just so you can savor the food and experience all the more.
