I came here on a Sunday in June for lunch and it was busy. The staff was attentive and friendly, but I felt it was quite a stress for the staff. My order got lost due to technical issues that the waitress apologised for and offered me a free glass of wine. The mixed salad was freshly looking and ingredients were tasty. My main dish was gnocchi with pesto. The gnocchi itself were very good and probably sort of home made, not chewy as it can be when it comes out of industrial production. But I was unfortunately very disappointed with the so called "pesto" that was used here : an obviously industrially produced, pasteurised greenish sauce, that has in my opinion nothing to do with pesto as one knows when indulging on Italian cuisine. It doesn't taste like basil nor like garlic, but more of citric acid which is used to preserve the product... This kind of pesto I didn't expect in an Italian restaurant here in the centre of Verona. Actually I find it should be forbidden to call this kind of green sauces "pesto" like infamous brands like Barilla or similar produce it, as it's deceiving and misleading the consumer, as in my opinion it really does not taste anything similar to real pesto that is prepared from fresh basil and garlic. Eravamo in 3 e siamo entrati ieri sera alle 20.40. Alle 21.12 gia' ci dicevano che la cucina stava per chiudere.mentre una signirina biondina ci aveva fatto entrare senza problemi.e noi senza sapere niente stavamo avvisando che avremmo ordinato il secondo.volevamo fare cena completa come ogni essere umano che vuole cenare.senno' altrimenti andavamo a farci un aperitivo.dopodiche' una signorina con fare serissimo ci ha fatto capire che vedeva se poteva fare qualcosa per i secondi.sembrava che che ci facesse un favore al limite delle possibilita'.Dopodiché abbiamo chiesto a un ragazzo con gli occhiali fino a che ora potevamo rimanere.tra l'altro molto simpatico e disponibile che ci ha fatto capire che potevamo mangiare con calma.dopodiche' la stessa signorina con capelli scuri con la coda sempre con fare serissimo ci ha detto che dovevamo sbrigarci a mangiare.abbiamo chiesto per capire bene come era la situazione alla signorina all'ingresso che ci ha fatto entrare e ci ha detto che potevamo mangiare tranquillamente e che se uno ha fame deve mangiare .noi siamo rimasti sbalorditi. Non c'era una persona daccordo con gli orari.l'unica persona che comandava tutti era questa ragazza con i capelli scuri con i capelli legati tipo a coda.sempre con fare serissimo facendoci capire che non le eravamo simpatici.non vedeva l'ora che ce ne andavamo.totale 211 euro pagati in contanti.nemmeno un grazie nemmeno delle scuse per averci quasi cacciato via.abbiamo scherzato un po con l'unica persona che ci ha dato un po retta in maniera simpatica questo ragazzo con gli occhiali .ci hanno mandato via alle le 23.23 .non sapevamo di questa discordanza con gli orari e informazioni con i dipendenti.alcune signore che lavorano li non sanno ancora bene l'italiano.e questo non e'un buon biglietto da visita. Anche perche'una persona deve capire come comportarsi o decidere in base a delle informazioni.non puoi farmi entrare a cenare e poi dopo mezz'ora mi dici che la cucina sta per chiudere.NON CI SIAMO!!!Nemmeno in Piazza Duomo a Milano ho speso cosi' tanto. Good but small portion lasagna. But the prices were too high. Staff tricked us into thinking the dessert was for free but we had to pay for it in the end. Tourist trap!

To the owner replying below me with a bullsh*t comment, let me tell you, one of ur waitress TOLD US the dessert was on the house, again, he TOLD US.
