B29 — Restaurant in Verona

The worst in all Verona, I think ... surely they are thieves starting with having incorporated the reviews of Piazza Erbe (one of the most beautiful squares in the world) as their reviews. Then it is not a tavern nor a restaurant. they only have 2 microwaves and you can see them as you enter, all the pizzas are frozen, badly warmed. The cocktails made very badly and at 9 euros each, also using very low quality liqueurs: 2 cocktails and 1 water (1/4 of a liter) 22euros! About the Wines they serve: you can also find these wines in all Italian supermarkets at a tenth of the cost. BE AWARE Google Maps has made a big mistake allowing them to steel all review of the square. Or there is a bug on the page of GOOGLE SEARCH as if you digit Piazza Erbe (the square), Google send you here to this awful place. So DO NOT TRUST Google Maps, as most of all the good review are for the real Piazza Erbe the pubblic square, and the reviews are all before 2015, year when this horrendous osteria start their trap...

We were trying to have a birthday lunch and decided to stop at osteria Sotto Costa in Verona. Menu looked ok but no one was eating. I ordered a salad “La Costa” and a bruschetta. Salad was horrendous, every ingredient was frozen or canned. Absolutely no flavor and it was priced at 15 euros. Bruschetta was a slab of bread smeared with ketchup, bad quality cheese and old tomatoes. I sent it back right away. It was bigger than my hand which in this instance was horrible. My friends ordered pizza which was frozen. And melon with prosciutto, which she wanted to take home but was denied. The people working there spoke broken Italian, but conversed splendidly in their native tongue. We were made to wait for a lengthy time although they were serving everyone else around us. I hope the city of Verona closes that place down because it is a disgrace. Needless to say the birthday celebration was disrupted by a horrible experience. I cannot award any stars because nothing there merits any...

Wish I could give this 0 star review. My boyfriend ordered and showed him which salad I wanted. even I showed him the picture. We waited 40 minutes for a salad with no meat, there was barely people outside eating. We recieved a a chicken salad, I told the waitress that this is not what we ordered, and he imediatly told us that he doesnt have it. I told him that when we ordered we didnt order this one, why would u bring us something we didnt order, just because u didnt have it? Just say so. As a person that works in a restaurant this is really unprofesional, I barely leave bad reviews but this one deserves it. At least get better workers if u cant afford telling what you have and what you dont have on the menu. I went to other place to get a salad within 5 minutes :) maybe if he would talk less with coworkes and work instead could prevent this from happening. At the end bad reviews affects...
