Foreigners not welcome. Not a tiny bit. We dropped by to order some coffee & snack, a croissant to be more precise. What a mistake, we should have been ordered cornette, otherwise it is out of the depth. With help of our tiny Italian knowledge finally got the snack.

Coffee was fine, snack rather average.

Paying time, so we went to bar for check out, and then to the actual bar with the cash register. We were pretty long ignored while standing direct (!) at desk with the recipe in the hand. Simply ignored for 5 Minutes. By a chance an older lady went to register and spoke italian, so I repeated that afterwards.

I was struggling for quite a long time to write this review, as I do appreciate italian flavour, a much to be honest. This goes however way beyond any other experience...

Whether you’re looking for somewhere quiet for a drink, or a vibey bar to sit in at - this is the place to go! Located on a side street from front on view it has a small amount of outdoor seating before you go inside the bar. But I was pleasantly surprised when the staff asked me to come through to the other side. They have another area of outdoor seating in a quiet hidden square with a couple of other restaurants around. I went for an Aperitif so it was beautifully quiet - I sat and read my book. The service was great and everything was reasonably priced- and tasty! They continue to replace your bowl of crisps which is amazing (and dangerous!)

A great spot we found during an evening stroll through the streets of verona. We were there in march on a late evening, therefore we had the chance to sit wherever we wanted , however i can imagine that the space situation is more difficult in the summer during the traveling season. The heat-lamps made our stay in the slightly cold evening more enjoyable, a true gamechanger! Drinks were on the pricier side, the snacks which consisted of a small bowl of chips and tasty olives were a nice addition though. Even though it got quite late and we were the last ones standing, the waitresses which seemed to be having a good time inside didn’t ask us to leave. Great romantic atmosphere and...
