A hidden gem in Kyoto serving unique plated donuts. Loved the morning set which included a seasonal vegetable soup. In my case I got cold beetroot soup, which tasted really fresh. The donut itself was crisp, chewy, and didn’t feel oily. The portion is admittedly small but that’s to be expected from a dish consisting of a single donut. The coffee was great, donuts were fine but more like bagels. I’m most annoyed that we were charged 360 yen because my daughter didn’t order anything; meanwhile my husband and son each ordered three items! This is understandable for groups ordering merely water or a single item each. But it was unreasonable in...
