🇺🇸My daughter, who returned to Kyoto from studying abroad in Thailand for 5 months, wanted to keep in touch with her favorite Thai food and Thai language, so she opened the door of this restaurant!!︎

I will be familiar with the kind-looking Thai cook, the unique and like-minded store manager, and other employees, and I will soon end my part-time job at this shop.

My daughter, who was always delicious and had a full day, wanted to introduce this shop to us as parents, so she invited me last night.

All the staff welcomed us with a soft smile, and the beginning of the Thai banquet.

I was able to spend an exciting and fantastic exotic night with spicy dishes and a series of coriander in the shop name.

My favorites are green curry and kaosoi (coconut curry noodles)

Both are curry dishes, but they can't be helped because they are delicious. It was a wonderful space where we exchanged smiles while washing away our tongues numb to the spiciness with Thai beer.

My daughter took care of me. Thank you very much.🐯

🇯🇵5ヶ月のタイ留学から京都に帰って来た娘は、お気に入りのタイ料理とタイ語にずっと触れ合っていたくて、こちらのお店さんの扉を開けた‼︎

タイ人の優しそうなコックさんにも、個性的で気の合う店長さんにも、他の従業員さんにも親しくして頂き、もう間も無くこちらのお店さんでのアルバイト生活を終える事になる。 いつも賄いも美味しくて、お腹いっぱいの日々を過ごしていた娘は、こちらのお店を親である私達に紹介したくて、昨夜招待してくれた♡

スタッフ全員 柔らかな笑顔でお迎えして下さり、タイの宴の始まり。 辛い料理とお店の屋号にもあるパクチーの連続で、刺激的で幻想的な異国の夜のひとときを過ごす事が出来た。

僕のお気に入りはグリーンカレーとカオソーイ(ココナッツカレーヌードル) どちらもカレー料理だが、美味しいのだから仕方がない、タイのビールで辛さに痺れた舌を洗い流しながら、微笑みを交わした素敵な空間でした。

娘がお世話になりました。 ありがとうございましたって話🐯

I'm a big fan of the Pacuchis in Kyoto. It is unfortunate that the Sanjo location closed in late 2022. The food is good and cheap. Service was fast during Corona, even though the restaurant was still filled with customers. I think that service may be slow again now that many locals and tourists have returned. Regardless, the food is good, hot, reasonably priced, and different from most other Asian foods that you can find in Japan and Kyoto. One other point, if you get placed near the door during winter, expect to be very cold. It is not well protected...

Five stars all round! OK it's not fancy food and certainly not expensive but its delicious, simple and honest food If you like Vietnamese & Thai food this is a delightful change in Kyoto. Don't be put off by the decor or lack of it. There are notice boards on the wall are in Vietnamese & Thai but they have pictures of their food so easy to order. Only about 18 covers they also do take out. We had the set meals. We have had both Vietnamese and Thai food before in England and these compared...
