When would Google invented the negative stars to reflect the truthful experience? I searched for a Sushi place near the hotel I stayed near Shinsaibashi using Google map and this place pops up, at first the pic seemed to be good, now I know what a scam this place is.
At the photo below you can already see that they explicitly say it requires ¥300 extra to cover the system they used?!?! (Frankly I didn't even understand what this English means), then I do not recall seeing the sign yet that boss suddenly pop up to our desk towards the end when we finished saying each headcount should order ¥2000 /head............customers are solely Caucasians, I supposed they all got scammed from Google map............
There is only 1 old man (believed to be the owner) doing the sushi, 1 more female staff to serve but not very friendly. When you tried to order and wave to get her attention, she acknowledged you once by waving hands, so when you expects she'd come to take your orders, she'd have gone inside and show the bill to the other table...............
Food choices and quality are extremely subpar. 8 or 10 pieces of Omakasae are garbage selection, I'm surprised when I departed right after scammed eating, there are still ppl waiting to get in, Good Luck is all I can say.
Now I've been scammed once so you don't have to. Go to this place at your own discretion. Final reminder: check your bill before paying, they not just scan you from the food & quality, they also randomly added items to your bill, I intentionally jogged down what I've ordered, and I was scratching my head off how did I ordered 9 sushi would end up with 12 pieces counted, towards the end I paid extra ¥900 when I checked the bill photo upon return, so don't commit the same...

My spouse and I, who are from New York, stumbled upon this delightful sushi spot run by the cutest husband and wife duo, and it turned out to be the highlight of our Osaka trip. The sushi was of exceptional quality! I recommend the omakase, the fatty tuna and pickled radish roll, deep fried prawns, seared butter salmon nigiri. The owner also offered me the finest local shrimp from Japan after learning that I love shrimp. The personalized service and warm atmosphere added to the overall experience. Don't miss out on their excellent local sake – it was one of the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hidden gem for an unforgettable culinary journey in Osaka! It's on...
Read moreElderly couple owners were so cute and friendly. The grandpa has been making sushi for 49 years!! Food was amazing and affordable! Tried the 10pc and 8pc omakase sushi set - both great. Tempura ebi, tuna yukke, grilled salmon butter were wonderful as well. The oysters were the biggest I've ever had and so so fresh. Rolled eggs (dashi maki) were the best I've ever had!! The drinks were also so good - husband said the beer was the best cos it was super icy cold, the sake and umeshu were great too. We ordered way more than a couple would cos we're big eaters. Would definitely come back again!! Just be prepared to wait due to the small seating, we waited about 40min when we arrived around 8pm,...
