Following happened in the restaurant is stated below and owner has some serious attitude problem with no sense of dealing with customers. First we visited the restaurant and owner in his highness (some attitude way of talking) told us that you need to wait for 30 minutes, so it was okay for us and we told him that we will return in 30 minutes. But when we return after 30 minutes, he says that 15 minutes has passed by. What a big lie it was but still we reminded him that 30 minutes has gone by. Despite this, we waited but still he let two more customers in, which is against Japanese culture of waiting. Even there was no word that please wait we will arrange it within next 5 minutes or some time. After 10 minutes, he told us to sit down but when i just mention about his poor customer behavior (you did not did well and its seems to be real Pakistani style management) then instead of accepting his mistakes. He started shouting (giving lame excuse of reservation) and told us that i will not serve you. Because he thought that this is the only one restaurant in japan and still we walked out patiently because we also dont need to eat food from a restaurant where owner behavior is one of the poorest in Japan.

Owner has some attitude issues with zero sense of customer care and you can also see the posts below where he ridicule customers on review. I can not imagine that how a Pakistani owner can be so disrespectful to Pakistani customers.

Reply to Owner Comment: We reached restaurant on 1745 hrs and came back at 1815 hrs. Yes, my friend requested for earlier favor but I said okay, we will come after 30 minutes and we did but owner ridicule us by saying it is only 15 minutes still. Can you imagine this behavior and flat lie on customer face. If you have told us that I am letting family inside, so we would have been happy to wait for that because true educated Pakistanis respect families alot. About Pakistan, Pakistani can not bad mouth against Pakistan which is a true fact but we can complained about Pakistani style management in which their is no customer care. I have traveled to nearly 7 countries and when ever i have went to Pakistani restaurants, I have made friends with even their staff and always recommend them but here, Pakistani owner does not respect Pakistanis and just entertaining other nationals before us. Quite strange. Discussion was happening in Urdu, so how come others came to know about it. About reservation, he even wrote our name in reservation book (when we said that we will come back after 30 minutes) and now saying that we did not do any reservation. We waited for 40 minutes and if he has told us that sorry we dont serve without reservation then we would have moved to any other restaurant or you have to wait here for 30 minutes then still it had been okay but instead he was flatly lying by saying its still 15 minutes now after 30 minutes has passed out. How much rude that was.

lunch combo was ¥1000 with a drink of your choice. Foodwise, the combo i ordered consists of a mutton and vege combination. The salad was really well dressed, not too sour, not too sweet, its a perfect balance of every flavour. Did i even mention that i was having this in a 37 degrees heat? I cannot imagine how perfect this meal would be in the winter.

Firstly, the salad was an absolute great way to kick start the meal, it definitely did boost my appetite and prepared me for the more awesome flavours that is coming my way. Next, i started with the mutton curry (right side), my first sip of the curry, was extrodinary, its unlike any curry that i have ever tasted. Being both an asian and a hardcore spicy halal food lover, this curry was not overpowering at all, you can taste the perfectly blended harmony of spices. Previous reviews that mentioned that the curry was too spicy and overpowering but its not at all in my case. Everything was really well balanced and worked in harmony to produce this flavour that gently coats the palate for a good 10 seconds. For the mutton, it was extremely tender and i know that it would not be possible if it wasnt cooked under low heat for hours. I know melting in your mouth has been severly overused, but in my case, having the mutton was like having candy floss, after putting it in my mouth, that block of meat just simply disappear and never be found again. Every mutton cube was like a block of happiness. You could feel how much love, passion and pride the chef have put into the food he serve. Simply overwhelming. The vege curry is awesome as well. Despite it being cooked in curry, its cruchiness was retained. However, it did not appeal to me as much as the mutton curry did. The ice coffee i ordered was just an average coffee, nothing much to mention about it. Foodwise alone i would give this restaurant a 8/10. Servicewise, I was served by a japanese waitress. She was always smiling (genuinely) from the time i entered till the time i leave. In short, a really warm welcome and i felt that my patronage was really appreciated. For a ¥1000 combo meal (inclusive of drinks and tax) , the value you get from this meal is one of the highest in Osaka. This restaurant also understands that serving good food alone is not enough, service is extremely important as well. This is a place that knows how to complement extradinary food with good service. In my book, any restaurant that is able to meet this two criteria would definitely get a 5 star rating from me.

I have already reviewed this place on Trip advisor where i raised my apprehensions about the non-availability of chicken biryani, no roti, no parantha and some other reasons why i rated the restaurant with 2 stars. But i am more surprised with the response by Mr. Zaidi who was trying to defend and be sarcastic about the review. So i would like to let you know Mr. Syed Zaidi that the intention for my review was not to reduce your ratings but to let you know that how important is sustenance of a good restaurant’s reputation especially in absence of its owner. And about your response to my review on trip advisor that we finished each and every dish… please don’t be glad about it. Its the respect we have for food and also spending more than 10000 yen on it .I saw, for all the bad reviews, you quote in your response that they finished their food. Please accept reviews with humility. the restaurant can’t cook chicken biryani for 1 person. Let me re-iterate, we were 6 people and i am sure that would have been more than 1kg. you checked the camera and found that the guest forced your polite staff to go and check for biryani and roti. Mr. Zaidi, “that was a request to your staff” since we travelled all the way from Yokohama just to cherish your food. So please do not mis-quote or check your cctv once again. And about the chef whom you claim has replied politely, let me clearly mention when i asked the chef if there is any good curry which could be prepared, he started shouting on your female staff right in front of me that there are many take out orders. And this clearly sends an intimidating message to a customer. next time i should check google and then come. Please change the time on the entrance board which says Dinner time on Tuesdays - Saturdays is 17:00 to 22:30. Perhaps some people see the restaurant timings when they arrive.

Again, all i wrote was to bring a clear transparency since i really once believed that this restaurant was one of Japan’s best and now it’s struggling to retain that position. I wish you the Best and hope to see some...
