Incredible sushi experience. Staff spoke English very well and were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was important to them for us to have an enjoyable experience and boy did they deliver.

The menu was very small which in my opinion are always the best places because they know what they do well and they stick to it. Each dish they brought we got a quick and simple explanation as to what we were having and that was it. Straight and to the point no fluff.

The food itself was incredible 10/10. Couldn’t have asked for a better staff/experience. This is probably the most glowing review I’ve ever left of a...

From entering the restaurant, the excellent service and smiles despite the language barrier was top-notch. Needless to say, the edomae-style sushi was exquisite, having all began in 1866 (yes that's not a typo!). I've flown there specially for their food pre and post covid, and it has never disappointed. Please do have umeshu on the rocks as well as the zuke-don even if you think you have stomach space for no more. Thank you 5th Chef Tadashi Uchida, and 6th Chef Daisuke Yamashita for the legendary food and hospitality. Thank you Hiro-san, for always making us...

Each plate of 3 pieces had a variation in texture that made this sushi meal a lot of fun. There was a bit of inconsistency occasionally, for example in the amount of wasabi. Not just the variation I would expect based on the type of fish, but from barely perceptible to burning my sinuses and making me cough. Otherwise, really good sushi. Firm rice (each individual grain discernable from the next) with white vinegar, sharper style of wasabi,...

Two words to describe: Simple & Great. No fancy looking stuff but lots of detailed techniques in prepping the sushi. Brings out the taste and texture of the fish very very well. Best sushi I have eaten in my life so far! Better than places like Kyubey. #secondtimeeatingwithintheweek #nextweekperhaps #edomaesushi #traditionalmethods #youshouldtrytoo
